*Beep beep beep*

I looked at my phone as I turned off the alarm, to see that the time was 06.45am. I groaned as I dragged myself out of bed to get ready for school. I really couldn't be arsed to go to school today, just like any other day, but there weren't really anything I could do about it than just suck it up and get up. I put on my clothes and went down to be greeted by my mum and my sister Nicola who were having breakfast in the kitchen.

"Morning sweetheart." Mum said to me as I went over to give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Morning mum." I smiled before going over to Nicola to give her a hug as well.

"I don't have time for breakfast, I'm leaving straight away, but I'll get something on the way." I told my mum as I got ready to leave the house.

"Alright babe. Have a nice day at school." She said and hugged me goodbye.

"Thank you." I said and closed the door after me.

I got into my car, well it wasn't really my car. It was my dads', but he let me use it every now and then, because he doesn't work far from where we live. Therefor he doesn't really need it during the week days. I started the engine and pulled out of our drive way, driving in the direction of my school. I didn't live too far away. It took about 15 minutes by car, so I soon arrived outside the huge building. I looked for a parking spot and saw one on the other side of the parking lot. I quickly parked there and as I walked out of the car I saw Zayn and his gang standing by his car quite close to me so I hurried out of the parking lot and into the building, before they got the chance to see me.

Zayn always give me a really hard time. He threatens me and humiliates me every chance he gets. I don't know what his problem is, but through the years I've gotten quite used to it happening. I'd do anything to make it stop though, but since I'm not one of the popular kids, I wouldn't expect him to stop as long as we're in the same school.
I try to just ignore him and stay as far away from him as possible, but you know how it is in school, you always bump into people in the corridors or the cafeteria and such and in those moments there isn't much to do than to just face him. Like I can't just run away like a scared little puppy infront of the entire school, can I? Anyways lets not focus on them for now shall we.

I checked the time and saw that it was 07.50 by now so I hurried to my locker and got the books I would need for my first class, which was English literature. As I walked into the classroom I saw that I was almost the first person to get there there, except for a couple of girls and my best friend Niall. He was sat in the back corner where we usually sit, so I sat down next to him.

"Hey man." I said as I took a seat.

"Liam! How are you?" He smiled.

"I'm alright. I almost came face to face with Zayn out there tho.." I told him and he smiled sympathetically at me.

"Ah I'm sorry. I don't understand why he keeps bothering you seriously."

"Neither do I, but I try not to think about it to much."

Niall and I have been friends for so many years now, I'm not quite sure how long it's been, but it's been since we were just a couple of kids, and we've always been there for each other.
He's in the football team so he's sorta one of the popular ones. He's not too popular in school, but he's average I suppose. The guys doesn't bother him like they do with me anyways and I'm glad, because before he was in the football team, he was being bullied as well. Just like I am now, but to be honest it actually pains me more to see a friend get hurt, than it does when they hurt me, so it's a relief that they're actually leaving him alone now.
