Lucy's POV:

"What are you doing here, Schroeder?" I repeated, looking at him. The same angry with a mix of sadness was still written over my face.

Schroeder stayed still. Not knowing what to do. He's staring at me then at Charlie Brown and vice versa. I can even hear his breathing on this current silence.

I look at Charlie Brown who has a surprised expression, still looking at Schroeder.

"I.." Schroeder started talking and I look back at him, wiping the remaining tears from my face. Schroeder once again, looked terrified as he saw me wiping my tears. I know there's something he want to do, but I just can't point out a finger on it.

I stared at him again, waiting for him to continue his sentence. It's taking too long now. I just realized that he's a lot taller now, and the way he's wearing his suit, really suits him best. His hands were hanging beside his thighs. His long slender fingers, those fingers of a pianist. Which I've been dreaming to hold ever since. I felt my eyes starting to tear up again, I quickly looked up trying to stop it.

"Sorry if I interrupted you two." Schroeder continued. I looked at him again and a smile was crept over his lips. He looks terrified earlier and he'll smile now? What is wrong with him?

Charlie Brown coughed, and we looked at him. "I guess I should head off inside." He stated and is about to walk away.

I took a hold of his wrist, stopping him from going anywhere. "No. Stay." Was the words that came from my mouth. I don't know what's happening to me.

A shocked face was written on Charlie's face again. And also my eyes widened.

"Right, stay." Schroeder spoked and we both faced him. He's staring at my hand that was holding Charlie Brown's wrist and I quickly break the connection between me and Charlie Brown. "I was going to ask you Lucy to come and watch me on my Piano Competition this coming sunday. And since Charlie Brown is here, I'd like to invite you too." Schroeder forced a smile. I know it's forced.

"Oh," Charlie Brown and I said in unison.

"And yeah, I'll be heading inside. Sorry for interrupting you." And with that, he turned around and walked on inside. Leaving us, skeptical.

Linus' POV:

"Where's Charlie Brown?" I asked Franklin who was standing beside the dessert table with Marcie.

"I don't know dude, He left Patty though." Franklin shrugged and I sighed, trying to find my bestfriend.

"That blockhead, I just grab myself a glass of water and then he left me." I whined, my eyebrows knitting.

"Why don't you ask Sally?" Marcie stated and I quickly look up at her.

"Eehh?"

"She's coming this way, look." She was looking behind me and she's right. Sally is walking towards this direction. Why am I having this unknown feeling again?

"We'll be heading off, Linus." Franklin cheekly spoked as the two of them walked away. Leaving me alone, standing.

Sally finally leveled me as she pouted her lips. "Have you seen Big brother?" She asked and I shaked my head.

"I'm also looking for him." I sighed, looking around. Trying to spot that blonde haired Charlie Brown.

"Where did he go? I'm worried." She said.
