Lucy's POV:

After classes, we post Charlie Brown's campaign posters all over the school. A lot of students are of course, in shock. This is the first time that the whole school noticed Charlie Brown's face.

While I was putting up posters, Violet and her group walked up to me. I crossed my arms, and faced her.

"You stepped down, because you're going to support Charlie Brown?" She huffed.

"And?" I Shrugged.

"I didn't think you'll actually go down to this level." She laughed. Frieda laughs along too, while Patty looks at me with concern.

"My, my, Lucy. If you want to join us again, all you have to do is ask." Frieda stated, looking at me.

Violet rolls her eyes. "As if I would let her!" She sighed, and walked closer to me. "Whatever you're planning, I assure you that this will not stop me from being President. I know you, and your tiny little tricks, Lucy. This time, you will not prevail." She sneered.

My mouth opened sarcastically, "Oh, I'm so scared, Vi. I actually got goosebumps from your words."

She rolled her eyes again. "You will not win, not this time." She huffed once again.

"Oh, the game is on." I nod at her.

She glared at me, before walking away. "Come on Patty, Frieda."

I watch them leave, as I shake my head. Violet really hate me that much, huh. I never thought that my bestfriend will turn her back on me. She really wants to become the Queen B so bad. Yes, she knows me, and I didn't think that she'll actually challenge me like this.

"Hey, Lu." Schroeder's voice echoed through the hallway. I looked at his direction and he jogged to me.

"Hey."

"I'm done putting up posters in the music club room and-" He didn't finish his sentence, as he looked at me with a worried face. "Are you okay?"

Guess, being challenged by your ex-bff can actually affect your mood.

I forced a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

He smiled back at me. "Alright. Well, I heard the Principal announced that those students who will run for President must be prepared for their campaign speech tomorrow."

"Oh, shoot. I nearly forgot about that. We have to tell Charlie Brown about it later at your house." I put my palm on my face.

"Yeah." He nodded with a smile.

There was silence again.

I smiled back at him. "So..."

"Would you like to eat lunch with me?" He didn't even hesitated, he just casually asked.

My eyes grew wide. "I'm sorry, lunch?"

He chuckled. "Yeah, lunch. After that we can walk to my house together."

Schroeder, Schroeder, why all of a sudden you want to spend the rest of your time with me?

"So, what do you think?" He smiled playfully.

A lunch wouldn't hurt right? Besides I know in my heart that I would also like to spend the rest of my day with him.

"Well, if you insist, I'd lik-"
