{I Find an Odd Letter(Emma and Zach)
I biked home after an exhausting day at Capital Elementary- where the kids of Milaine, KS learned Science, Math, Reading, English- all that stuff- with an required extra subject for each gender.(girls took an Art of their choice(Art, Sewing, extra Writing, ect.) I took extra Writing(boys took a sport of their choice)) Capital schooldays always ended with my best friend (who was also my crush), Zach, and me, riding bikes to the Eye. See, after school, you were required to go either to the Igloo, Volcano, or Eye. Only girls could go to the Igloo without an invite, and the Volcano was like that for boys. Anyone could come and go to the Eye though. Anyway, you had to go to one of them for at least an hour after school to socialize, then it was come-and-go-as-you-please. So, Zach and I would go to Eye, where I'd explain what we did in my extra Writing class, and he taught me how to play his extra-class sport- baseball. We weren't supposed to do this, but we did anyway- no one had told us not to being our excuse. After our hour ended, we would bike-race to our houses, which were conveniently side-by-side. However, today, there was a break in routine.
A note, on my door, about one and a half hours after we got home- someone knocked on the door, and ran away. When I opened said door, there was a note. It read, "Emma, meet me in the Igloo at 12:00. signed, A Friend."
I only had two friends- Emmaline, a girly-girl with small, decorative handwriting, and Zach, who was Zach, with his long, spiked handwriting. This was more like if Zach tried to disguise his handwriting; maybe he wanted to tell me he finally liked me. So, when midnight came 'round, I rode my bike-car at top speed to the Igloo.

Today had been tiring- the kind of day only Emma could re-excite me during. This was most days, which was why we biked to the Eye together, hung out together for an hour, and then rode home together- two hours together was all it took for both of us to have new energy. Usually, nothing broke from our rhythm, but today, something definitely did.
Roughly a one 1/2 hour after we got home, as I played on my eyePhone, I heard a ringdingding- which was the way my eyePhone told me someone had knocked on the door. Maybe Emma wanted to go hang some more at the Eye. I went to open the door, but there was only a note:
«Zach. You. Me. Igloo. Inside. 12:00. A Friend.» it looked almost like Emma's handwriting... did she figure out I like her?!?!?! Oh, I hope not. When 12:00 rolled around, I put on my sneakers, and pedaled to the Igloo as fast as I could- going the secret way.
