As per usual, my alarm goes off at 6:30 and I force myself out of my warm bed, and prepare to face the day. Hurriedly I shove my school uniform on then head downstairs for a bowl of grey, mushy cereal that tastes like cardboard. I sigh, "this really is the life..." to my self whilst scraping the in edible slop into a rather rancid smelling bin.

After a noise filled bus ride to school, I trudge through the entrance and wait tentatively by my locker for Luna to arrive. We always meet in the mornings and walk to our form rooms together, hers is in the English block and mine is on the way in the French department.

After a couple of minutes or so of me just idling around Luna appears, yawning, but with a bright smile painted over her face. Seeing her always makes me so happy, so naturally I smile too. She waves at me, beckoning me to hurry up and get over to her as she has something to say.

"Hey," she beams at me when I reach her. "So, you know how I was supposed to be staying round my cousins house this weekend?". I vaguely recall her telling me about this a couple of days ago, but I nod anyway, wanting her to continue talking so I can here her voice again. "Well, my cousin had to cancel on me as she realized she had plans with her boyfriend that weekend which she 'forgot' about, probably meaning they're going to bang all weekend". I chuckle slightly at Luna's bluntness about the situation, and she carries on. "So this means my weekend is now free, and I was thinking that we could go out and do some shopping on Sunday, and when we get board we could go buy a milkshake and chill?"

"Sure, I'd love to!" Excitement filling me already as I now have plans to see her again. Happily I ask: "Is 11 am outside of the park okay for you?"

"Yep, looking forward to it! See you at break" she laughs, skipping off to her form room. Smiling I enter mine and ready myself for the day ahead, which (I presume,) will be fairly standard.

As the day goes on, I daydream about Luna often, and play out different scenarios in my head about the upcoming shopping trip, many of which end up with us somehow dating or kissing. I blush at some of the thoughts that pop into my head, and dismiss them quickly as unrealistic and not suitable to be thinking of at school...

After a dull lesson on algebraic equations in maths, I head off home wanting to daydream some more about Luna and the weekend. A sort of mellow warmth fills my body every time I think of her, and my stomach knots, but in a pleasurable way. Being in love is exciting and fun, yet it can also be intensely painful if things go wrong.

The day continued as usual, but when I go to bed I allow myself to think of Luna instead of trying to fight the thoughts, and slowly drift off.

A/n hope you enjoyed this part. I'm going to continue this as I have an idea where to go with it, but any advice or feedback would be great!

This will probably be quite a short story, and I'll try to finish it as quickly as I can
