Chapter 4

It was Saturday so there was no school. I started my day by taking Cookie out for a walk at a near by pet friendly park.

Unlike most of the times, I was walking behind and being dragged by Cookie since I was still tired and sleepy due to last night's 'train of thoughts'.

I was staring at the sky and admiring the clouds without noticing the rocks ahead.

"Wow the clouds are moving really quic-", I was saying to myself when I suddenly tripped over a rock and fell onto the hard ground.

It was very painful when my knee hit the rough ground but I was trying my best to hold my tears in when I saw blood oozing out of my knee.

I stared at my knee for a few seconds and started breathing heavily before everything went blank.

I fainted.

When I opened my eyes, I saw an unfamiliar ceiling above me and as I sat up and looked around, I realised that I was in a hospital.

"Oh you've woken up", the nurse beside me said with a soft tone.

"Why am I here?", I asked in a barely audible voice.

"You fainted in a park and a young man sent you here."

I was nodding my head after understanding the situation but I suddenly remembered.

"Where's Cookie?!", I asked without realising how loud I was.

"Cookie..??", she asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Ohh,your pet...Dont worry, the young man brought it out for a walk downstairs since we dont allow pets inside here.", and I just gave another nod.

After a few hours of the resting there, I was discharged and I immediately went to look for Cookie and the 'young man'.

I wondered who the young man was but no matter who he was, I'd still have to thank him for helping me.

I was walking around for more than 10 minutes and was about to give up when I heard a familiar bark behind me.

I spun around and spotted the furry ball of cuteness.

"Cookie!!", I said as I ran towards her and squated down while hugging her.

I saw a pair of legs infront of me so I slowly lifted my head to see who was this 'young man'.

"Kai oppa?!B-but how?", I said as I looked at him with my eyes wide opened while he just gave a slight smile.

"I was at the park to meet my friends, Lay and Suho, when I saw my stupid sister lying on the ground and seeing the blood on your knee,I could guess why."

I was going to open my mouth and scold him for calling me 'stupid sister' when I saw two boys approaching from behind.

"Hi, Im Lay and this is Suho. We heard that you fainted earlier, how are you feeling now?" He said while shaking my hand.

"Im fine, thank you for your concern", I smiled but didnt realise that I was staring right at Suho.

He looked so angelic and the perfect features on his face caught my eye. He looked like a prince. *-*

All of a sudden, Kai hit my head lightly with his fist ,"Stop staring at him! He's way out of your league", making me blush and look away while Suho chuckled.

If the two boys were not there, I would've kicked Kai so hard in his butt until he apologised but in the presence of the two senoirs, I just couldn't, instead, I just grabbed Cookie and walked off before I could embarrass myself even more.

After I walked off, Kai glared at Suho. "I was only kidding just now, you're the one who's out of her league, so don't you  dare touch her"

"Of course I wouldn't, I already have a girlfriend anyway", Suho said while chuckling, knowing Kai as the protective brother behind her back.
