Chapter 4

"Im Katerina Warren, Im a new student and history is my favorite subject." I answered feeling the whole class staring at me.

" Hello Katerina, Im Mr. Saltzman, sorry I was not told, I was having a new student today" He said politely

"Oh that's fine " I answered

" Umh, you could sit next to Stefan, over there." He state pointing into blonde hair, green eyed vampire.

" Well as I said, my name is Katerina Warren , I lived in New Orleans, now I moved to Mystic Falls, that's all you need to know." I started moving toward my seat.

"Ok so, now as we are settled today we are going to learn about..." Mr Saltzman said I didn't really pay attention. I only enrolled in high school to get closer to Elena. I felt Stefan staring at me. I turned to face him. His look quickly shot back to the teacher. I found a peace of paper and took out my pen .

I know that you think, that I'm a vampire but I'm not. I know you are one tho

I passed the note to him and watched him carefully open the note and read it.His eyes widened and he looked at me. His forest green eyes full of shock. I just winked at him and looked back at what Mr. Saltzman was saying.

Soon enough the lesson was, over and as everyone was walking out I gave Mr. Saltzman a note that said:

I didn't look at him for reaction I just walked out. I decided to play a little game.It won't last long as that Damon dude knows what I am, and a word between supernatural spreads quickly especially in a small town like Mystic Falls where supernatural population is higher than human. I was by my locker when someone slammed, their fist into a locker, next to mine. I looked at the person, seeing that it was Elena. My lips rolled into a smirk.

"Listen, I don't know what sick game are you playing , but Stefan over there is my boyfriend, so back off." She told me in a threatening voice It just made me laugh.We were so similar, she won't even notice. Once in New Orleans I was going out with this guy, and we went to a cafe together, and while I was in a ladies room, this bich was flirting with him. So I came up to her tapped her on a shoulder gently, and when she turned around I punched her right in the face. Now I can clearly see me and Elena have the Petrova fire, no one touches our men.

"Listen Elena, I am no threat. I am not trying to take Stefan away from you, I just kinda warned him" I started

" How do you know my name?" She asked curiously

" That's for me to know and for you to dot dot dot" I answered her walking away to my next class.

The rest of the day was pretty boring. I was now sitting in my last class, which was chemistry with Mr. Brooks. He was one hell annoying of a teacher. The bell finally rang and I sighted with relief. I hated this class. I walked out of the class and moved down the long, corridor towards the exit. Suddenly a blonde female vamp ran up to me which made me stop and look at her.

"Hello your probably new, my name is Caroline" The vamp said streching her hand towards me

" Hi my name is Katerina, but friends call me Kati" I answered shaking her hand.

" So me and my friend are going to the Grill today, would you like to join us?"

"I would love too, could you come to my house before going?" I asked politely

" Sure, give me your phone ill type in my number s you can send me the address."I handed blonde my phone and she quickly started typing. Soon she gave my phone back and I placed it in my pocket. Caroline got a text and looked at her phone.

"Damn , I'm going to have to walk home, because my friend just ditched me ." She said in a annoyed voice

" I can give you a ride, if you want "I asked my new friend

"Would you mind?" She asked shyly

"Sure, why not" I answered and she squicked as we started to walk out, toward my car. I took my keys out and unlocked it

" That's your car ?" She asked pure shock in her voice

" Yes, is anything wrong with it?" I asked

" No it's awesome" Caroline said excited I just laughed and both of us sat in my car. Leaving the school parking lot in few minutes.
