Chapter 4

Sapphires POV

I was seriously stoked. After we had all settled in the boys had asked of we wanted to go shopping. Azure and I had jumped on that train immediately. We were both in separate need of new decor and clothing. If we were gonna be stuck here for who knows how long, we might as well make it comfortable. It would never be home, but there was nothing wrong with a little tweaking. I had been trying to convince myself this was just a nice vacation and that I'd be home in no time. I was barely succeeding, but it still managed to keep the depression off for now and that was all I needed.

There were two cars that everybody was piling into, Louis' s and Harry's. Liam and Zayne climbed into Louis's car and I followed them while Azure and Niall got in Harry's. I was slightly worried about her, knowing how she was. She had taken a liking to both and whenever she liked a guy all emotions and restrain broke loose. She went crazy.

However I didn't worry too long for I was distracted by a truth I discovered about myself. I like Louis. I realized this when I climbed into shot gun and he sent me a goofy grin and I felt like my insides were melting. He was adorable!! Zayne had fleetingly mentioned the other boy's love for shopping, and a plan to spend extra time with him formed. I'd act clueless about what to buy and he could help me! It was simple yet effective if it went the way I was expecting it to. If things went well I'd get a feel for what Louis was really like and whether my small crush was worth expanding on.

When Zayne finally shut the door, Louis put the car in gear and pulled out. We began making our way down unfamiliar roads towards the mall. I stared at the scenery all around me, awestruck by the people and buildings and basically the entire city. It was beautiful! It looked so much more alive and so much more detailed down here than it had from the helicopter.

I was so enraptured by what I saw I didn't notice Louis reach for the radio. However I did notice when suddenly a loud song blared from the speakers, jarring me from my sightseeing. The three boys laughed at my surprised look and sent them all quick glares before deciding to brush it off. The song caught my attention next and as the tune and words washed over me I got sucked in. I wasn't very familiar with outside music, but if it was all like this I wanted to get familiar with it fast.

"Like it?" Louis chuckled sending me a sidelong look and I grinned while opening eyes I hadn't realized were closed.

"I love it. It's amazing and the lyrics speak to me on a spiritual level." I replied, somewhat joking. Other than the relationship part, this song was my life.

"It's called 'Don't Forgrt Where You Belong' and it's by a pretty popular band." Liam piped up, leaning forward to try and make eye contact in the rear view mirror. Louis sent him a smirk that slightly confused me. They acted like there was an inside joke in there somewhere. I shrugged it off for now and turned in my seat to face Liam and Zayne.

"Really? What're they called?" I asked curiously. I wouldn't mind looking into them if their other songs were as good as this one.

"Yeah, they're called One Direction." Zayne informed me, looking up from his phone that he had been texting on previously.

"You like this song that much?" Louis interrupted, grinning wide. I nodded eagerly hoping maybe he had other songs by then on hand.

Sure enough, for the rest of the ride we were jamming out to song after song. Each song for better and better, even though none would compare to the first song.

"Here it is!!" Louis exclaimed excitedly as he pulled into the packed mall. It took quite a lot of browsing to find two parking spaces close enough to each other. Finally, we found two spots pretty close to one another. It wasn't too far from the mall, but it wasn't necessarily close either. 'Oh well. Walking never hurt anyone.' I thought to myself as I climbed out of the now parked car.

I rounded the back of the car, following the other three boys as we all made our way towards Harry's car and the other group.

I could see that azure had someone else phone in her hands. She was typing away at it, then she took a picture of herself. She then handed it back to Niall as he handed her her phone. Azure looked up at me and I raised an eyebrow. She just blushed.
Azure walked over to me. She closed her phone then whispered,"I got BOTH of their phone numbers!!" A too happy smile split her face.
"Woah! Woah! Woah! Slow down! They do not need you to go all creepy stalker on them like you do all your other crushes!" I exclaimed putting my hands on her shoulders.
She pouted. "It not stalking!! It's investigating!" She retorted with a slightly sly smile on her face. I just let out an exasperated sigh.
I watched In interest as she walked up to all the other boys and asked for their numbers. They all asked why, and she just said, "I got my reasons." All the boys looked at her skeptically, some with a small smile on their faces.
We all walked into the mall. The boys got quite a few surprised and gooey looks. Me and my sister however, got quite a few nasty and jeleous looks. A lot of girls had asked for their autographs. Soon we finally made it to a interior designers store. I walked in with the others trailing behind me. Almost instantly Azure got distracted by something shiny. I watched as Niall discreetly followed her. Those two had a lot in common: their easy going attitudes, cluelessness, stalker skills, energy, huge appetites, and super niceness.
I just chuckled at them, then went hunting for what I wanted. About a half hour later I had some awesome new decorations for my room. I had teal curtains, Silver butterfly's for the walls, teal paint and letter stencils(I planned to paint different sayings on the walls), and a few other accessories. The boys got nothing, but Azure went all out. She got Pink butterflies for her walls, along with pink paint( she was going to do the same as me) a pink lamp, pink curtains, a lot of owl posters, pink stuffed animals, and a lot of mini accessories. As we waited for the cashier to check us out, a new song came on in the back round. "Hey girl in waiting on ya, I'm waiting ya. Oh c'mon and let me sneak you out. Well have celebration, a celebration. the music up the windows down." I looked at Azure with wide eyes. Then we squealed. We froze and listened as it played. The boys looked at us weirdly and then just shrugged. "Hey, do you know who sings this?"
"Nope! Just know I love it!" Azure said as she began dancing in the middle of the store. I laughed and hit her shoulder.
"Not in public!! Your embarrassing!" I scolded with a smile on my face.
"So? I think your just jealous of my awesome skills!" Azure said back. She stopped though. The lady handed us our bags along with a couple of weird looks. We headed towards the exit, but Azure balked.
"What's up?" Zayne asked.
"The song isn't over yet!" She said, squinting her face and listening harder. The song finally died down.
"Ok it's over. Now lets go eat! I'm starving!" Niall proclaimed dragging Azure and Harry from the store by their wrists. Liam, Harry, and I laughed following them. This day was awesome!!
We wandered around stopping at a store if something caught our eye. (We stopped at all the accessory shops because Azure just couldn't resist SPARKLES!!) Niall finally managed to wear us down and we all stopped to get food. Niall and Azure stuffed their faces, while the rest of us lost our appetites.
"You know, I wanna go see if we can find Kevin!!" Louis yelled standing up from his seat and running towards the door.
"Ooooo! Whose Kevin?!" Azure asked dropping everything and running after him.
"Here we go again." Liam rolled his eyes, as he too got up and followed the other two out.
I was super confused until I walked out to see Louis chasing pigeons. "Kevin! Come here! Someone help me get him!" I laughed and began chasing them too.
After not catching any thing, we decided to he'd back to the apartment. Life was good.
