Azures POV
It was three days after we had set up our rooms, and I haven't seen the boys since. They would leave super early, and come back really late every night. It had given me time to actually process everything that had happened. I had left every one I knew, my mother, my home, my life! And it had made me feel hollow. I had voluntarily left my mother with a madman, then had had a lot of fun, not giving her a second thought. So I had called Jackson, and he said it was all ok. I didn't believe him. I had tried to ask him for a way to contact her, but he refused. Contacting her would endanger us. Well I didn't care, I needed to know if she was ok!
All these thoughts ran through my head as I lifelessly laid on my bed. I was staring at one of the stars on the ceiling so deep in thought that I didn't notice someone walk in. I was brutally ripped from my thoughts by someone tickling me. I giggled and looked up to see Sapphire.
"Are you ok? You've been acting really weird." She asked with a worried expression on her face.
"Yeah. It's just I got a reality check. Moms at home being held by a whack-a-doodle king. We haven't heard from her, and Jackson won't let us talk to her. And while she's probably not doing to good, we have the decency to play around, and not try to save her. I feel empty." I explained with a blank face while starring at the ceiling again.
Sapphire laid next to me and didn't say a word. We sat in companionable silence. Then she spoke up, "Well, I think Mom would want us to be happy. She would say have fun, we're only teenagers. Let Princess Protection deal with it." I snorted.
"Their probably too busy dealing with other princesses to think about the queens or kings that are in danger too." I said with a scoff at the ceiling.
"Azula Jannette Montinez! You can not talk about them like that! They've saved us and hundreds of other Princesses! The others have all come out of it perfectly fine! Their kingdoms are safe and so are they! So just stop!" Sapphire yelled at me sitting up. I sat up to and didn't make eye contact with her. She was right, I needed to trust the professionals. I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Good, now I'm going to go get ready." I looked at her confused.
She rolled her eyes, "The boys are taking us to the fair? Remember? Harry and Niall asked you at breakfast the day after we did our rooms? Ugh, you need to pay attention more often! Now go get ready. We leave in an hour."
"Ok. Sorry I forgot!" I said putting my hands up in the surrendering position. She walked out and I ran to my closet. I ruffled through my dresses for a while until I found the perfect dress. It wasn't too fancy but it wasn't to casual either. It was a short green dress that stopped at my knees. It was sleeveless, and had black trimming and a black belt. The bottom was decorated in Four leaf clovers. I laid this and some green heels on the bed. I then went to the bathroom and took a shower. I let the shower wash away all the bad thoughts. I got out and dried my hair. I put my under garments on, then did my hair. It was now curlier than it normally is! I then put my mascara and lipstick on. I rarely wore makeup. I then went out and got dressed. I had decided to wear leggings because I would be on rides and I didn't want perverted boys looking up my dress. I was done! I looked at my clock and saw I had 5 minutes to spare. I ran to Sapphires room.
I knocked on her door. She came out wearing a beautiful purple sun dress and silver sandals. Her hair was not done yet. She was wearing her glasses that were silver on the rectangular frame, teal on the inside of the sides, and purple on the outside. It had little diamond hearts in the frame.
"Wow! You look gorgeous! Just let me do your hair." She smiled and we walked inside. She sat on the couch as I braided her hair from the left side, all the way around the back, and to the right side of her head. She had Katniss's hair style.
As I was putting the rubber band in, the boys knocked on the door. "One minute!" I yelled grabbing my bag and walking out with Sapphire behind me.
We walked out. The boys were all there, but some had girls. Liam was holding a girls hand and so was Zayn. Louis, Harry, and Niall had no one. "Oh, hello! Who are you, ladies?" I asked politely. I had a suspicion that they were girls friends, but I wanted to know.
"Well, I'm Danielle, Liam's girlfriend. It nice to meet you..." Danielle trailed off.
"Hi Danielle! I'm Sapphire and this is Azure. Now, who are you?" Sapphire introduced.
"I'm Perrie, Zayn's girlfriend. I'm glad I I ally got to meet Harry's Dad's Friend's nieces! Wow. That's even more confusing when you say it out loud." I laughed. I liked Perrie.
"So are we ready to go play at the fair?" Harry questioned.
"Yes!" Was everyone reply.
