Chapter 5

Tay POV

I woke up to the sound of my door creaking open. I opened my eyes and heard Jay snoring in my ear and my nurse was coming in to check on me. She was a short white lady with blonde hair. She was cute I guess.

"Aww..you guys are so cute..are you okay sweetie? Do you need anything?"

"No mam, I'm okay.  Well..can I have a cup of Sprite please?" 

"Sure can. I'll be right back with that."

She walked out and I looked down at Jay and kissed his head. I can't believe he was still here..in the hospital bed with me and everything. I smiled at the thought and laid my head back. I grabbed my phone and started to put in my code to unlock it. I opened Facebook and seen the worst shit ever.

This is unreal how am I going to go back to school and face all this shit?

My nurse walked in and sat my Sprite on the table and looked at me. I guess she could tell I was upset.

"What's wrong pretty girl?"

"Just..typical teenage drama.."

"Ahh..I know the deal..I have a daughter around your age..she talks to me all day long about drama." She smiled and rubbed my hand. I smiled back and looked down.

"Don't worry about it honey, just hold your head up and keep it moving." I smiled and nodded.

She left and I sat my phone down and drank the Sprite she brought me. I looked down at Jay and burped in his ear. He turned over and started back snoring. I giggled and dropped a piece of ice in his ear and he jumped up quick.

"Bruh! What the f..." He stopped and looked at me with a stale face.

"Really Tay?"

"I'm sorry.." I poked my lips out and looked down.

He sighed and kissed my head.

"Stop doin that when you don't get your way big head. You so damn spoiled." He hugged me tight and took out his phone and opened snapchat. I looked at him.

"No..don't I look a hot mess.."

"No you don't you look cute..I mean ya hair look a lil nappy but.."
He laughed and I mushed him in his head laughing.  I looked at his phone and realized he had been recording the whole time. I mushed him again and rolled my eyes. He made another video while I was pouting talking about if I was mad or nah. He laughed and got up and looked at me. 

I looked down and sighed.

"Tay..what's wrong ma? If you want me to delete the videos I will."

"Jay it's not that..I got on Facebook this morning and-"

"I can't believe this dumb bitch!"

I was instantly cut off by the sound of Jas' enraged voice. I laid my head back. All hell is about to break loose. Jay looked at Bry who was walking in behind Jas.

"What happen Jas?" Jay asked.

"This bitch Alexis done lost her rabbit ass mind! You ain't been on Facebook?"

"Nah.." Jay whipped out his phone and opened Facebook and the look on his face was so cold. He looked at me and looked away and sighed.

"That's what's wrong.." I rubbed my head and looked at them. Bry walked over to Jay and patted his back. 

"Come get me...now.." Jas said into the phone. I already knew what she was planning and I couldn't let her get in trouble for me. She had so much going for herself.

"Jas..don't worry about it..fuck her..I'll be fine..trust me.." I wiped the tear forming at the corner of my eye and looked at my phone again. 

"Look ma..Ima go home and shower and shit..and Ima come back to get you and take you home okay?" Jay said as he kissed my forehead. Him and Bryan left quickly. I looked over at Jas who was sitting in the chair next to my bed. I seen the hurt in her eyes and instantly knew what she was thinking about.

"Jas this isn't your fault.." she looked shocked that I knew exactly what she was thinking. 

"I should've been with you..I should've never left your side.." I heard the tears in her throat and sighed. I sat on the side of the bed and looked at her.

"I thank you for looking for me..for caring..you found me..you helped me.." I looked at her. 

We heard the door opening and I looked to see my nurse walking in and she smiled at me. 

"Baby girl they're gonna let you go home today..so I'll be back in a little with your discharge paperwork okay?" I nodded and waited for her to leave. Jas hugged me and kissed my cheek. 

"You're my best friend." she said to me. I hugged her back and smiled.
