DAY TWO

I have a long sleeve shirt on with a warm sweatshirt on top of that one. I wear my gloves and boots and head out my room.

" Where are you going ? "

I turn around to look at my mom. She has concern written all over her face, she's a worry wart. The crease between her eyebrows that never goes away, is proof.

" Out. "

" Allison......" she starts to complain.

" Mom, I'll be okay. I'm just going to the park. "

" Its getting colder out there Ally. Maybe you should stay here. We could watch movies. " she tries to persuade me, I would say yes but I really want to see him again. The boy from yesterday.

" As much as I would love to I - " I was interrupted by the phone ringing.

My mom goes to answer the phone while I adjust my gloves.

" Yes. This is she. " I hear my mom say.

I look up at my mom to see her face change from concern to horror, but its quickly replaced by an impassive face. Then she looks at me and tells me its okay to leave. So I do. Even though I'm curious as to who it was she was talking to, I'm not that kind of person to pry into peoples business.

The boy from yesterday was different. I wanted to know more about him. But he kept asking a bunch of questions that almost made me doubt what I believed in. He led me off course into finding out who he was. And now I'm intrigued by him, and it all started by asking if he was okay. That's when the questions started.

I walk down my porch and into the direction of the park. Once I'm there I slowly walk to the place I was yesterday. I find the green bench and sit down. The bench is in between two leafless trees, and its facing the streets and houses.

Its cold and snow is everywhere. My cheeks are probably red and ill probably get frostbite for being here too long, but I don't want to move. So I stare straight ahead into the neighborhood. The walk from my house to the park was probably only five minutes. But I don't want to get up, I want to wait.

I wait but he doesn't come. My brown hair fly's everywhere due to the breeze that has seemingly picked up its pace. Its Sunday and school starts tomorrow. My mom is surely worrying about me, its been two hours already. But I want to wait. Sadly the more I wait the more sleepy I get.

My eyes start to droop downwards, and I find myself leaning back to rest my head on the cold bench. I surrendered to my eyes and let them close. Maybe its not so bad if I take a nap.......

My body stiffens at a sudden warm feeling close to my right arm. Someone's sitting next me. I reluctantly open my eyes to look at a certain boy with blonde hair and green eyes. He stares ahead at the passing cars, his eyes looking from left to right.

A smile creeps up on my face. I honestly don't know why I feel this satisfaction. I think I've been staring at him for about five minutes, not once does he look at me. He just leans his body on the bench and looks at the cars and people passing by.

Then he speaks.
