Someone is knocking vigorously at the door
Sam comes down the stairs in her pajamas
The knocking continues
Sam
"I'm coming! Calm down!"
Sam opens the door and nobody is there
Sam
"What do you want at 6 in the..."
Sam looks around and sees there is a box at the doorstep
Sam picks it up and walks back inside
Alex comes down the stairs in her pajamas
Alex
"Who was it?"
Sam
"Nobody... But did you order something?"
Alex
"Nope"
Sam
"Me either"
Alex
"Open it"
Sam puts the box on the coffee table and starts opening it
Sam screams and runs to the corner
Alex
"What?!"
Alex looks in the box and sees it's a ventriloquist dummy
Alex
"Oh come on Sam!"
Alex takes it out
Sam
"Put it away! You know I hate dolls!"
Alex
"Why weren't you scared of the Spy Elf then?"
Sam
"Because that one was cute! All other dolls are evil!"
Alex puts it down
Sam
"Where did that even come from?!"
Alex looks at the box
Alex
"It doesn't say"
Sam
"Of course it doesn't... That damn thing came to life and mailed itself!"
Alex
"Oh will you stop? It is just an inanimate doll!"
Sam gets up
Next scene: Alex's room
Alex
"Here you go Chester, I found you a friend while we're at school"
Alex puts the doll next to Chester who is sleeping on the bed
Alex opens her closet and picks out an outfit
Alex turns around and sees the doll had moved to the end of the bed
Alex pauses and looks confused
Alex
"Um Chester? Did you move the doll?"
Chester is fast asleep
