Chapter 5 - New Queen For Rovana

I wanted to cry and cry because of how badly I needed him. I was so going to kill him for that. I looked like a complete mess, I felt like a complete mess and I had to go see Nina now and she was going to ask so many questions of why I sounded like a complete lunatic talking to her on the phone.

I quickly fixed my hair as best as I could, hoping it didn't look like a huge mess because I had no mirror to check. I then quickly made my way over to Nina's car having to constantly clench my legs at the remembrance of Dimitri's touch. It was driving me insane.

I finally made it over and opened the door to the passenger seat and as soon as I sat down she burst out into laughter. My eyes widened not wanting to know why she was laughing as I slumped down into my scene. "Dimitri, I need you! Pleaaase!" She mimicked me before laughing again and I turned to her with a look of horror on my face. Please someone tell me she didn't hear me. "You didn't turn your phone off." She showed me and I groaned, burying my face into my hands in embarrassment.

"Stop Nina! This is so embarrassing!" I wanted to cry and kill Dimitri even more. He wasn't going to come out of this one alive.

She continued laughing, holding onto her stomach in pain. "And also... your shirt is buttoned all wrong and your hair's a complete mess, and your lipstick is smeared down your face!" She exclaimed and I pulled out the mirror in Nina's car and looked at my appearance in complete horror. I had pink lipstick smeared all around my mouth and down to my chin and my hair was a complete birds nest. My skin was flushed a bright pink and my lips were very swollen.

"You look like some beast mauled you. A very sexy beast." She winked before bursting into more laughter causing me to groan. Dimitri was a very sexy beast indeed, but I was still going to kill him.

Nina handed me some tissues so I could wipe the lipstick away. As I was wiping my lips I thought back to Dimitri. I don't remember seeing any lipstick smeared on his lips from kissing me. But maybe that was because I was so far gone in his arms, I couldn't focus or do anything. Just like I had failed to end the damn call. But now that I think back, I remember him rubbing his mouth against the back of his hand.

"I feel so embarrassed Nina!" I exclaimed and she waved it off with her hands.

"Hey, it's not like I haven't had my moments with my boyfriend." She spoke reassuring me, but it was still embarrassing. "You might want to button your shirt up properly though and fix your hair before going home. You seriously look like you got mauled. What did the King even do to my innocent best friend?"

I buttoned up my shirt properly as Nina giggled some more. "Have you guys had actual sex?" She asked and I nodded my head, feeling myself blush. "Wow, the King must have skill to convince you to have sex with him before marriage!" She exclaimed really surprised.

"He didn't convince me at all actually. I told him I wanted to do it. He didn't even bring it up to be honest. But I wanted him to take my virginity away and he did." I explained to her before I decided to launch into my entire story as I had promised her, explaining to her why Dimitri has come to mean so much to me and why I loved him so much. She listened attentively asking questions as I went along and she seemed really impressed with me for catching the eye of two demons, let alone the Demon King himself.

"Wow!" She exclaimed once I had finished my story. "That's intense, that's actually really intense. You love him a lot, don't you? Risking your life for him to save him from the Shadow. That's true devotion Isa." She spoke as she drove me home. "But, Isa I want you to be careful. I don't want to see you heartbroken. You love him a lot, more than I've ever seen anyone love someone. And it makes sense why you love him so much, you went through so much together, and I know he loves you too but be careful anyways. He could hurt you and I don't want to see you heartbroken. You did say he's been with a lot of women before so he could one day decide to leave you for someone else."
