Chapter 7

Natsume's POV

We ran to the room Kita was in and opened the door.

Inside we seen something we never wanted to see...

Inside the room was Kita,who was laying on the bed,covered in bandages. He had scratches all over his face,he was pale also.

"N....Na..tsu....?"he croaked as he slowly looked this way. "R...Ru...ka?"

Ruka and I quickly ran to his side.

"Wha....what happened?"I asked,my voice barely above a whisper.

"M..mission..."he grimaced.

Anger flashed across my face.

I stood and was about to storm to where the dangerous class was located,but Kita had grabbed my shirt.

"D.....don't..."he said quietly.

I looked at him then to Ruka, who also had a pleading face.

I sighed, turned around and sat back down.

It has been a few days and Kita is now able to speak without stuttering.

"This sucks..."

I give Kita a blank look,"and who's fault is that?"

"Obviously not mine,I'm crippled at the moment,"he retorts.

I roll my eyes,"how's your arm and leg? Any better?"

"Eh,slightly. I'm still hurting though..."he replies.

"When will you be able to back to class?"I ask.

"The nurse said next week. Since my leg isn't that hurt,I should be able to walk by then,"Kita replies.

"Hmm"

It's been a few weeks and Kita's up and walking again.

His arm is bandaged,but that's the closest he was to getting back to his normal self.

We were sitting in class waiting for Narumi come in.

Ruka looked at Kita,"how's your arm?"

"Pretty good actually. I just can't do anything rash to hurt myself again,"Kita replies,scratching his cheek with his good arm.

Ruka smiles,"that's good."

Narumi walked in and when he seen Kita his grin grew.

"Good morning class~! Good to see you again Kita,"Narumi says.

"Eh,I'm neutral about this situation,"Kita replies.

"Why is that?"Narumi asks.

"Because I didn't have to do work when I was hospitalized,"Kita boredly says.

A few of the other students cracked a grin,others chuckled or giggled.

"Nice to know..."Narumi sweatdrops.

"You asked,"Kita retorts.

I cracked a grin then.

Kita and Ruka saw and laughed lightly.

Class was back to normal...

Well...almost...
