The Darkness

"help somebody help me!" i began to yell as i ran down the dirt pathway.
" you can't Ignore the calling forever"
"Tch"Its still after me, I began to pick up my pace whilst tripping over some rocks.
It was pitch black and the only thing I could see were the shadows of a few dead trees, I didnt know where I was or how I got there all I knew was I had to keep running. There were two winding paths the one on the right was radiating light and the one on the left engulfed in darkness. Without thinking I sped off to the path on the right. The light distracred me from the darkness that surrounded me it comforted me and gave me hope,but within seconds it was snatched away. I felt a sharp pain run through
my body my heart had been pierced by an arrow. I fell to my knees screaming in pain, but no sound came out. when I tried to pull it out my arm wouldn't move, I was paralyzed .
"I see you've finally given up aye"
My eyes widened the dark shadow that was after me had caught up.
"Come now and give in to the darkness"

"Noooo !"my eyes shot open,I quickly scanned the room looking for anything i might of seen from my dream, but no luck again. just a few hanging paintings, some dirty laundry ,and the peeling wallpaper.
Just as i was about to get up I felt something soft hit my face.
"Shut up !"
"I'm s-sorry"
"Every morning you with this screaming and all you have to say is sor- "
Before she could finish her sentence a red headed blur dashed over.
"Leave her alone Liza"
"Move out of my way or do you want one to"

"She just came back and your already bullying her"

"Get out of my way!"

"Don't make me call the sister"

" Tch you got lucky today"
As the the fight began to settle a lady clad in black and white bust through the door.
"Whats with all the noise in here"

*oh no sister Mary !*
" since you girls have so much energy to make such a ruckus, I suppose your all awake and ready for your chores."

"Wait sister this twit started It !"

"Aa-ah-ah No back talk, do you think you,ve been forgiven for that little incident last week , I can still have you punished"

"But!"

"Wax the floors or clean the gutters your choice, Ms. Elizabeth
Ann"

Everyone stood there in silence.Elizabeth Ann one of the few kids who knew their real names, well besides the twins .She's an unruly,selfish brat and gets whatever she wants .Not because of her quick tongue, or her agitating beauty, but because of her temper no one dared to defy her. When she was angry she was like a ragging bull.She usually got mad over stuff like the to many chores , or not enough meat on her plate , but one thing that really set her off was calling her by her full name. As the sister just did and only sister Mary dared to do such a thing.

"Whatever!"She quickly spun around and went back to her place

"Now all of you in a line"

Everyone flew swiftly into place knowing that sister Mary wasnt playing that game today.

"Emily you clean kitchen, Denally make the beds, Rose the windows, Merideth as always will help me balance the books, and you Ms. Elizabeth shall clean the church yard today".

"I cant finish that by myself"

"Of course not , you'l be taking the twins and Naomi with you"

While i just stood there with a mouth open so wide it could catch a million flys,liza just smirked and the twins snickered. I knew they had something devilish planned for me.

~Sorry for the long chapter and the even longer wait i was debateing on whether to do the book or not .
