I had just broke the news to my bestfriend and she did NOT look happy about it
"THEY CANT JUST FORCE YOU TO LEAVE,ISN'T THERE SOME TYPE OF LAW AGAINST THIS!"

"DID YOU EVEN MEET THESE PEOPLE YET"
*keep your mouth shut*
"WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING ANYTHING ,DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE ME"
*dont say anything*
"FINE,LEAVE you and your new family can go to hell see if care!"
I still continued to say nothing allowing silent tears to stream down my face,watching the only family i had walk away from me.
It's better this way,now she won't have to protect me,and now that she hates me it'll make it easier for her to forget .
"Naomi there here"one of the nuns spoke
I quickly grabbed my worn out duffle bag and quietly followed her down stairs.
The head nun stood with a fake smile plastered onto her (rinkly,old) face.
"Naomi i would like you to meet Mr. & Mrs. Lancaster"
"Hi Naomi" They both said in unison
"Good Afternoon"
"No need to be so formal my names Macey and this is Hank"Mr. Lancaster just waved
Even though these people had the biggest smile on their faces *mostly Macy* I couldnt help but get a weird vibe from them. There eyes were so dead and lifeless, I couldn't find one ounce of happiness in them let alone emotion.
"Well what are dilly-dallying for,let's hurry and get these papers signed We headed off to the head nuns office and signed the papers.
"May God be with you"
The head nun spoke as we stood in the doorway of the church.She had a remorseful look on her face, like she was sad i was leaving, which i didnt understand because I know as soon as i left they'd be clicking their heels singing 'oh happy day'
We all hopped into the car, and drove off and not once did i look back at that place. Now more emotionally numb than before i sat there awaiting our arrival to my new home
I begin to prepare myself, because every bone in my body is screaming these people aren't normal. But there was no amount of preparation that could be ready me for what i was about to experience.
