Going Separate Ways?

NEXT DAY MORNING....

MERCY POV:

I was sitting down watching the cops run around, doing there job. This place was way too much. I turn to look at Artemus who doing the same as me. After awhile of signing paper work and watching this crazy place, we were told we were allowed to leave. As I got up I turned to look at the elevator door open. Two men walked out. I looked at them from toe and up and realized that it was Joe and....Clyde?!?! At that moment Joe and I had made eye contact, I tugged at Artemus sweater and nod my head that way. She looks at them and made a concerned face. We walked towards them. Clyde had noticed that I was walking his way and looked up at us.

"Mercy and..." Joe said

"Artemus" I finished for him

"What are you guys doing here?"Joe said concerned. Clyde looked at me knowing that this isn't my first time in police station. As for him the first time he had an encounter with the police and me was my first robbery. I was stealing a diamond and had gotten caught walking home at night. That was the first and last time I was caught robbing something. After that I became a master at theft and was never caught ever again.

"Well a guy tried to rob our place but fell out of the window after being startled by me" I say laughing .

" I wonder how you did that?" Joe said looking at me and then to Clyde. I get chills up my spine.

"Hey Joe the family that adopted me aka the guy your talking to and his two sons don't know about my powers and I don't plan on telling them any time soon." I say to Joe in his mind. Joe and I make eye contact once again. He nods his head giving me the okay.I turn around to see Artemus had started up a conversation with one of the female cops in training. I smile then my senses kick in. I quickly look up at the stair case and see Barry and Cisco walking down and making there way to me, Joe, Clyde.

"Hey guys" says a smiling Cisco. I wave at him. Clyde had walked away into chief of the police stations office, Joe followed patting Barry on the back. I watched as that happened but then snapped back to look at Cisco. His eyes were looking pass mine. He was staring at....Artemus.

"It won't happen Cisco"I rolled my eyes.

"What?" Barry questioned

"Him and that girl, uh uh no way" I laugh out.

"How would you know?" Cisco

"Because I know everything ...." Barry laughs knowing my humor and Cisco well just wants answers. "She's not interested in you because she likes the cop she's talking to... She's lesbian" I say bluntly. They were both silent for a minute

"And how do we know that your not assuming stuff huh?" Barry questioned with fake sass.

"Yea, how do we know your not making this up ?"Cisco says agreeing with Barry.

"Well for starters she's my roommate and secondly I kissed her before."Mercy spills out.

"YOU WHAT?" Barry and Cisco said at the same time.

"Yea that's how we met, it was way before I got my powers. She was the only kid in school who really talked to me but not all the time but long story short, it was on her 16th birthday and her ex was there don't ask why. So I came in late and they were playing spin the bottle, I watched and when it was her turn even though I was on the outside of the circle the her ex dared me to kiss her when the bottle pointed at me. So I did." I crossed my arms and fake smiled.
