Growing up (sans)

When I was eight my real parents threw me out they were scared of my powers of what I could do.
They didn't understand it so I guess it scared them since neither of them knew much about magic. So when I was eight they took me to meet a lady on a boat I couldn't see her face she always wore a hood over her head. They said she was going to take me on an adventure so I climbed on her boat and we left. When we stopped she told me it was Time to get off. I didn't know where I was she told me to go explore so I did. It was really cold and I had no idea where I was but the monsters were friendly enough so I was alright with it.

After a few hours of playing in the snow it started to get dark all of the other kids ran inside to there parents. I was getting cold I only had a t-shirt and my shorts I ran back to where the boat was but it was gone with a note in the snow. the note said

Dear boy: you are a huge disappointment to our family hope you freeze to death kiddo have fun.

I was so afraid I didn't have any family here I didn't even know where here was. I turned back and headed towards the town. I thought maybe I could stay at the inn but the door was locked it said closed for the night. I walked to the shop it was locked to. I walked a little further and saw a sign

SNOWDEN TOWN
*That must be where I am*

It was getting colder I tripped and fell on the ice next thing I know I was being shaken awake by a kind looking man.

*Are you ok you are chilled to the Bone ....come let me take you inside and get you warmed up*

I couldn't move so he picked me up and carried me to a little house at the end of the town.

*Mary get some blankets and some hot water*

The man called up the stairs. A women came down but she looked different I noticed her from a book I read at the library she was a human?

*Oh dear what happened ... hold on I'm coming*

I heard water run and a few seconds later I had a hot towel and a soft blanket wrapped around me. Then my feet were put in hot water I started to feel better I realized I haven't spoken to these kind people yet so I smiled.

*Thank you...*

My voice was kind of shaky and shy I looked up at the women and noticed she was pregnant. "I hope they don't kick me out they have a kid of there own coming" I thought to myself afraid to speak more. The man who had carried me In smiled at me.

*You are quite welcome young man...I am professor w.d. gaster royal scientist this is my wife Mary. Tell me boy where are your parents?*

I felt even more shy now this man works for the king am I even aloud to speak to him? After a moment of consideration I decide it's fine he did talk to me first after all.

*My mom and dad....they don't want me anymore....they tricked me and left me here*
I felt a hot tear fall down my face and quickly wiped it away.
*Can I stay here? Just for the night? It's so cold outside*

The man looked at me like I had just broken his heart and the women gasped.

*What is your name .... perhaps it's a mistake a misunderstanding?*

I shake my head and give him the note I had found be read it after a few minutes he handed it to his wife and she looked at me a tear slipped down her cheek.

*They never gave me a name they always called me boy or thing*

The women shakes her head and hugs me.

*Well then I will call you Sans and you will be our son gaster we can't just throw this poor kid out let's just keep him*
Gaster seems to think a moment then he smiles

*yes we will keep him I quite like that name....Sans That was the name of my father you know*

Wow a new home a new name a family a new chance....I just hope they don't find out about my powers they might kick me out. It looks like I will have a sibling soon I smile and hug them both.

*Dose this mean I have a real mom and dad now?

They both smiled and nodded my new mom took me to a room it had a little bed and a trashcan in the corner she said it was for me that I could decorate it tomorrow and that this was my new home now. I was so full of hope after a few months something big happened something that would change my life forever.
