The Truth About Us (Completed Story)

Dad disappears (papyrus age 5)

Dad always acted strange so I just stayed close to sans he took care of me all the time anyway. I wondered if our father disliked me he didn't seem to like being around me much but I never did anything wrong to him so I don't understand why he didn't like me maybe something happened that i don't know about that made him this way. It's very late at night but I can't sleep I feel like something bad is going to happen so I just sit here and wait for morning. But morning never comes this night Sans runs into my room it's really late and I wonder if my big brother has had a nightmare he just rushes over to me grabs me and pulls me through the house and into the cold night air. We are running but I don't know why fear rises inside of me my bones rattle as I shake and Sans turns to me.

*Papyrus I need you to run ok I need you to run as fast as you can ok can you do that?*

My fear overwhelms me what is happening I feel the hot red tears spring into my eyes and I look at my brother's turn and see men and women chasing us. We take off again and run for a while I notice my brother has bruises all over his bones and his skull is cracked. I loose my balance and trip falling on my ribs I sit up look around and the men and women have surrounded us I hide in my brother's jacket he pulls my head up to look at him and says in a very serious tone and he sounds more like father then himself Sans is never serious.

* paps I need you to do something ok?*

I have had enough of trying to understand so I ask him.

*Brother....why are they chasing us where is father?*

He smiles at me and hugs me.

*It's going to be alright just...I need you to be brave ok....just close your eyes and hold on to me alright?*

I do as he asks and I can feel his arms tighten around me.

*Like this?*

I hear him chuckle but there is no humor in his laughter just worry.

*yes just like that your a pro bro...ok now no matter what happens ....NO PEEKING*

I never peek just like he asked but I hear crashes and blasting and rubble being thrown around I hear screams and cries all around us. I hear angry voices and mad swears but I never peek I tell myself it's just a bad dream that it will go away soon but that was not true it went on for hours. Then I felt the weight of my brother crushing me someone picked us up I clung to him I guessed he had passed out. Then everything went calm and I was asleep.

(Me: HEY GUYS WHATS UP ITS KIT THE AUTHOR HERE!!! Sorry this chapter was so short I know it's a pain but I thought I would mention now before someone says it in the comments yes these ideas are particularly from YouTube videos but I figured that would fit this situation seeing that it is papyrus's and Sans's back story to how they grew up. So really it just makes the videos feel more true but most of the things I am writing in here are from my own inspiration let me know in the comments below what I should do for other book ideas! I will literally write you guys anything!
