Luna sat on her couch bare face with a bowl of mac and cheese in her hand. The doorbell rang she got up and answered the door.
"Hey" she said while looking up at Jason. He smiled at her and walked in. "Are you okay?" She asked. Jason nodded and took a seat. "I'm just bored" he said.
"Well I was about to go for a walk, you can join me" Luna said "But I just got here" Jason said. "Stop being lazy and get up" Jason frowned as he got up. Luna put on her sneakers and a jacket, she grabbed her keys and looked at jason.
"Come on" she said he pouted and walked out the door. Luna closed the door and locked it behind her. Jason followed her as they walked to who knows where.
"So Why'd you come to my house?" Luna asked while looking over at Jason. "I just wanted to chill" Jason said while looking at her. "So...where are we going?" Jason asked.
"I have no idea" Luna admitted "what?" He asked while stopping. Luna turned around and started to walk back wards. "I just go where my eyes, ears and feet take me" she smiled, "it's sort of like an adventure, come and explore with me" she said. Jason smiled and caught up with her.
They were currently at a cross walk waiting when Luna heard something down the block. She directed her attention there and walked away from Jason following the sound.
Jason looked at her as she followed the sound "Luna?" With confused look on his face Jason followed her. Luna stumbled upon a group of kids dancing in the street to music. She smiled as she watched them do all different types of dancing like contemporary, ballet, hip hop.
A little boy no older then eleven came up to her. "Hey Ma, how you doin?" He asked Luna laughed and looked down at him. "I'm fine, how are you?" She asked. "I'm good, I'm good just lookin for my Miss. Right" she raised her eyebrows at the bold child with the top level of confidence.
"Oh really?" He nodded "I think I just found her, what your name?" Luna tired to hold back her laughter. "Luna" she said while looking at him "I'm Adonis Would you like to dance, Luna ?" He asked.
Luna smiled and nodded taking the boys hand and walking out into the road. Jason watched as Luna danced with the underage boy, he started laughing making her look back she stuck her tongue out at him and hugged the boy. Who gladly hugged her back with a big smile on his face.
Jason watched as they slowed dance to the song playing. The next thing you know a little girl came up to Jason and smiled widely at him. "Hey sweetie" he said "I asked my mommy if I can come over here and ask you too dance" Jason smiled at her.
"I'd love to dance with you" He said. The little girl smiled "My name is Lyric" she said. "Jason, Nice to meet you sweetie" she smiled at him and took his hand. Lyric held both of Jason's hand and they danced around together. (You know like a father daughter dance when they dance around in circles)
Once the dance was over the girl curtsy and Jason bowed. "Thank you!" She said before skipping away. Luna kissed the little boys cheek and waved goodbye to him.
"That was fun! Wasn't it?" Luna asked, Jason nodded "yeah it was actually" "see this why you follow your ears and eyes" "Well right now I'm going to follow my stomach cause its desperate for some food" Luna laughed "Why'd you talk about your belly like that?" She asked. Jason shrugged "I don't know" Luna shook her head and walked over to the ice cream truck parked. She banged on the door the guy came out and looked at her.
"You open?" She asked the guy nodded and went to the back of the truck. "Can i get a chocolate dipped cone?" Luna asked "And she looked at Jason and Chocolate sprinkled cone with chocolate ice cream" the man nodded.
"You're welcome" Luna said while smiling at him. "How did you know I want that?" He asked "because i know your down with the swirl" she said making him laugh.
The man handed them there cones. "Go ahead pay for the man Jason" Luna said, Jason looked at her as she licked his cone. He sighed and took out his wallet paying the man. They walked away once again and ate there ice cream cones.
Luna took a seat on a bench and looked at Jason as he stood in front of her. "Can I have some?" She asked Jason nodded and held his cone out. Luna licked the cone happily, Jason watched her then pulled the cone away.
"Why'd you do that?" She asked. "Cause you were licking it in an inappropriate manner" Luna rolled her eyes "whatever" she said. Jason sat next to her as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Today was fun" she said. Jason took a deep breath "Luna I need to talk to you" "then talk silly" she said. "Luna I- I want to be with you again " he said.
Luna didn't really know how to respond. "And I just want you to tell me is there going to be a future for us or not, I can't continue to play these games with you because I want it to be real" Luna smiled "Jason" she said while looking up at him. He looked down at her with a hopeful look on his face.
"Jason, I would love to get back together with you but I don't know if we can" she said. Jason looked at her with confusion all over his face. "Jason what about our careers, youre a producer and I'm a singer, what if we're to busy for each other, I don't want what happened the last time to happen again" She said.
Jason sighed "I said I was sorry about that, I know putting you second to my job wasn't the best thing considering we were long distance at the time but please just give us a chance again" She looked at him as he looked at her with a big smile on his face.
"Fine" she said, Jason smiled and wrapped his arms around her hugging her tightly, he kissed her cheek and mumbled a thank you. Luna laughed and shook her head at him.
Oh lord please let this be the right decsion.
