Hi, Chrissy, Mom, Dad.
How are you? I hope that you don’t miss me too much; it has been 7 years already. I’m doing fine. Kind of busy, but it’s pretty much the same work every day.
Remember when we went on those picnics by the lake? When the weather would was warm and sunny? Chrissy, you used to jump in the water with your clothes on and Mom would yell at you every time, but we’d all end up in the water anyway. And that time when you tried to climb a tree to get to a bee hive like you saw a bear do on TV? We had to call the fire department to get you down!
Did you accomplish any of your grand goals in the time I’ve been gone, Dad? I know you have. You always said never to let any obstacle stop you from achieving your goals, so I am confident that you’ve already become a musician and a cross-country runner by now.
Mom—I love you. I really do. The only thing I regret about my decision is not being able to tell you how much I love you and Dad and Chrissy. Now that I think about it, I always did want to try on the dresses you bought me even if I said I hated them. They were so beautiful.
I want to see you all soon, and we can go do more of those crazy, fun things again. Wouldn’t that be fun?
I wish that I could see you and hug you and kiss you again. I wish that I could talk and laugh with you like we did all those years ago. I'm sure that we can soon.
Love,
Lily

Lily set down her fork on the small work desk she had been allowed. She picked up the metal tray with the small remnants of the food specially prepared for her to place it at the door of her small, bare room. Immediately, a hand encased in a sterile white glove snaked through the one way dog flap to slowly scrape the tray out, as it did every day. Lily watched the slow progress before catching the when it was almost out of sight.
"Thank you, for the truly terrible meals," she growled.
The gloved hand jerked out of her grasp and slid away.
"They really do taste disgusting," Lily called.
Everything Lily ate was laced with poison because Lily was a poison. In order to make Lily more dangerous, or more useful, she was constantly ingesting harsher, more lethal poisons. Lily couldn't remember the last time she had had sweet candy or clean, fresh water. In fact, she now only knew the taste of poison-- sour, bitter, and evil.
Her entire being, her existence is meant as a weapon for people’s own personal desires. As long as they had the money, Lily's services were attainable.
In a fit of anger, Lily kicked a leg of one of the two pieces of furniture in her room, her desk, and jumped back with a whimper of pain. Even if she were ridiculously feared by the ones that knew about her, Lily was still human.
