“Lily, wake up."
The lights flicked on and Lily opened her eyes groggily. Yawning, she looked blearily at the man standing at the opposite side of the room with a full body suit and full-face breathing mask on. He looked like a deep sea diver with an astronaut's helmet.
Lily sighed. "You don't need to wear that, you know. I'm not going to hurt you and I haven't 'released' any 'harmful gas' yet," she rolled her eyes.
He didn't say anything.
Lily stood up from her messy bed and walked toward jumpsuit man, frowning when he pressed himself against the wall.
"Hi, John?" she asked, reading his name tag. Huh, he must be new. "Relax. All I want is my assignment."
Wordlessly, John handed Lily a sheet of paper that said 'Case 38' in bold letters at the top.
Lily scanned the order briefly and looked expectantly at John.
"Can I get pictures of the ones I have to kill?" she asked.
John handed her a manila envelope with 6 pictures of the people on Lily’s new kill list and she read the profiles.
“Okay,” Lily said, “This job will be finished by the end of the week.”
John nodded and scurried out of the room without looking back.
Lily leaned against the worn wood door frame. “He’s stupid,” she mumbled to herself.
7 years ago, Lily was forced to leave her home since her body was a harmful poison to all living things. A single brush from her fingertips onto bare skin could leave the victim incapacitated for days and a light sigh would wither a plant completely dry. Lily was hated and feared by everyone. Even by the younger sister she would give her life for, so as a result, Lily started hating people that believed entirely in prejudiced rumors and lived their lives only thinking about themselves. She is now the best anonymous killer in the world.

Mom,
I received a new assignment today. It’s going to be pretty difficult, but I can handle it. The jobs I get really require me to think and plan how to finish them. Even if I can’t leave, I’m having a lot of fun!
There is a guy that runs whenever he sees me. What do you think about that? Does he like me? Just kidding.
There’s delicious food, a comfortable room, and many people I can talk to here. Everything is the same, though. I wish I could go to school again and learn more about the subjects I already know. I want to get out. I want to see you and be able to hug you and Chrissy, and Dad.
Lily.

Here’s the plan. The targets—the Mantouve family-- are part of a rich family that owned a successful business. Their power increased rapidly as they rose through the business industry and there is proof that they used illegal means to do so.
Lily will looking for a job and is perfect for the stay-in housekeeping position that recently opened up at the main mansion.
Improvise the rest.
Lily read her plan carefully and frowned.
“Only two steps, huh,” she sighed. Then grinned. “Just the way I like it.”
As Lily was pondering the best was to approach the Mantouve’s for the job and ensure that she gets it, someone knocked quietly on her worn door. They entered without waiting for an answer and Lily was struck by the man’s domineering appearance and obvious physical capability, as she was every time. Her eyes slid over his dark hair that fell over his forehead, his smooth, defined jaw, and his strong nose that was straighter than anyone’s she had ever seen before settling on his cold and calculating eyes.
