His eyes filled with desolation as he blinked his briny tears from his swollen eyes, his thick eyelashes stuck clustered. "I hope there is a moment, someday, where you won't hesitate to tell me you love me too." He mumbled.
Slowly, tucking loose strands of her hair behind her ear carefully. "However, I doubt that day will ever arrive." His lips trembled as he pecked the top of her head.
He detached his arms, that were wrapped around her sleeping body and cautiously got up from the bed the two were sharing. As he quietly made way to the door, he glanced at her sleeping body one last time.
He lost all he had: hope.
