"When I find that bitch I promise you I will rip her neck out with my own teeth." Aly's voice echoed in my head and slurred around as if she was saying the same thing a million times. I groaned and slowly tried to open my eyes.

"Why is it I always wake up to the sound of your lovely voice?" I sarcastically said slowly trying to lift myself up from the couch. Aly rushed towards and helped me sit up. I looked around to see Mariya sitting on the chair across the room with Brit standing next to her, both wearing worried looks on their faces. Ryan had his arms crossed leaning against the wall with a fixed gaze towards the floor and a blank expression. He looked paler than ever. Aly got up and continued pacing. I looked over and saw Nathan's watery eyes staring at his wrist. He sat near the table away from us all. Tears started escaping his eyes. I got up and walked towards him.

"Nathan?" I asked waiting for him to look up at me... But he didn't.

"What did she do to me?" Nathan whispered still staring at his wrist. I followed his gaze and gasped. Black veins covered his entire arms and looking closely, I could see the blood flowing inside them.

"Hey genius, she didn't just do it to you." Mariya spat back lifting her arms so her wrist could show. Aly, Ryan, and Brit did the same. Before I could look down at mine, Logan walked in with books in his hand, along with Tulsi.

"We looked in every single one of these and I didn't find shit." Logan said throwing the books on the table.

"There's no logical explanation for any of this, I Google'd everything." Tulsi said placing papers she had printed out on top of the table along with the books. My mind started to piece things together. Everything that happened before I blacked out slowly came back to me.

"Ashley." Was all my lips could manage to stumble out.

"Can rot in hell." Aly added.

"No, She.. She came in here.. She came in here and.. She-"

"Spit it out Parker." Logan said crossing his arms.

"It was a show. All of it was a show." I said shaking my head remembering her clean the blood off her face.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Mariya asked getting up.

"It wasn't even real blood. The screaming, the blood, the crying... it was fake." I said looking at each of them. They all looked at me like I was crazy.

"Okay, this whole thing is obviously hitting her more than its hitting us. Why don't you take a seat mate?" Brit said pulling a seat towards me. I shook my head and walked to the middle of the living room where everyone gathered around me.

"I saw it. I saw everything before closing my eyes. She got up off the floor, and the blood was fake. Some girl with brown hair came and kissed her then told her she put on a good show and said they did what they were sent to do." I said walking over to the books and papers that were on the table. I scanned through them and most of them were about vampires, witches, and mystical creatures. But something told me we were way off.

"Okay, so say it was a show. That doesn't explain the whole black veins thing. This isn't make up Aiden. It doesn't just rub off." Logan said rubbing his wrist.

"I understand that but-" I stopped once I looked at my own wrist. They weren't black. As much as I should be joyous, disappointment surged through me. This was no longer my problem. I had nothing to do with this. I could walk away and leave it to be their problem. Nathan noticed my wrist and frowned.

"You've got to be fucking kidding." Anger started to rise in him and he shot out of his chair.

"Out of all people, you're the one she decided to leave alone? I was her bestfriend. This is bullshit." He said pushing the chair to the floor. We all jumped to the sound of it colliding with the floor.
