Dark Divine

I paced back and forth trying to keep myself from panicking. The chain of events that just happened.

"There are literally no contacts on her phone." Logan said scrolling through her phone and frowning.

"Check her call log. See who's called her or she has called." Tulsi said looking over Logan shoulder glaring at the phone. 

"Aiden? Are you okay?" I heard Aly ask from the couch. I could feel everyone's eyes fall on me. I struggled to say I was fine. To push all the panic and anxiety out of my head. I forced words to come out, anything.

"I killed her." Is all that stumbled out. I looked towards the figure that laid motionlessly on the floor covered with a blanket.

"Hey, she almost killed you. You defended yourself." Nathan objected.

"But how?" I said looking at my hands. "I'm not like all of you. I don't have black veins popping out of my skin. I don't understand. What.. how.. I killed her. She's not sleeping, she's not breathing. She is dead." I started panicking. My breathes started coming in short and my vision started to get blurry. I felt Aly's hands land on my shoulders and shake me. 

"Pull it together Aiden. If you wouldnt have killed her, she would have killed you. And if that were to happen we would have all tried to kill her anyways. It would've had the same outcome." I looked at her face and started taking deep breathes. 

"Look. She calls the same number constantly." Tulsi said taking the phone from Logan and walking towards me. "This could be the number of whoever she was working for." She handed it to me. The minute she placed the phone on my hands it started to vibrate with the familiar number showing on the screen. I looked up at everyone as we all shared the same expression of shock and fear. As soon as everyone surrounded the phone and I, I answered it and put it on speaker. The voice was stern and annoyed.

"Where the hell are you? You were supposed to meet me at Rose's 2 hours ago Ashley, I promise you-" 

"Ashley's dead." I blurted out. The silence on the other side of the phone felt like it lasted hours. 

"Hello-" 

"If you and your friends don't make it to Dark Divine in 20 minutes, I will find you myself and I will personally squeeze every ounce of blood out of your bodies and bathe in it." The rage in her voice sent chills through my spine and I could see it had the same effect to everyone else. She hung up before I could respond, or even process. 

"Dark Divine?" I heard Mariya ask. 

"Amusement park 15 minutes away from here." Britney said in a shakey voice. 

"Lets go." I said walking towards the door. 

"What?" Aly shrieked. 

"We're actually going to go?" Mariya frowned. 

"Are you insane?" Nathan looked at me like i had 8 eyes on my forehead.

"Aiden, I know life might not seem like much to you but I have things to live for, you know?" Ryan said shaking his head. 

"Did none of you hear her? If we don't go we are dead for sure." I said putting the phone in my pocket.

"So we leave. Somewhere far. We have 20 minutes to hop on a plane and disapear, and considering the circumstances I'm okay with that." Mariya argued. Frustration started to build as I heard her talk. 

"They are not human. From what I've seen so far, they kill people for a living. I'm pretty sure finding us is something she is capable of doing. If she wanted us dead she wouldn't ask us to go to a public place. Its a freakin' amusement park." I said raising my voice. Everyone stood quiet for a moment.
