I Don't Belong

Three

Your voice was soft and quiet- inaudible almost- yet it still dismayed the two unknowns. The raven haired boy tensed at the sound of your voice, astonished that such a sweet voice could belong to a murderous figure, then relaxed in hopes that you didn't catch sight of his discomfort. Under your arm, the jumpsuit clothed boy tried wriggling out of your grasp, to which you kneed his back to make him stop.

"H-hey !" The blond screeched. Without budging your stance, you glared at him, your murderous look becoming psychotic. He immediately stopped, frightened of what you may do.

"She reminds me of Sakura.. Only more scary." The blond murmured to the raven haired boy. The other boy scoffed at the mention of the name and crossed his arms in annoyance, facing away from his friend and yourself. A moment of silence hung between the three of you, only the softness of the breeze to ease some tension, until the cat-like boy spoke up.

"U-uh," he began, clearing his throat, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and that guy over there is Sasuke Uchiha." Naruto struggled to point out Sasuke, as you still held a deadly grip on him. The other boy, Sasuke, fully turned his body to face you. He looked more calm now, and allowed his arms drop to his side. You looked up at him, once again reaching his eyes.

This time, you didn't look away. You let his captivating onyx eyes stare deep into your  [e/c] ones. His eyes held a comforting feeling to them, much like the white noise you enjoyed so dearly, yet they were distant. Feeling your face heat up, you relaxed you body. You dropped your arms from its murderous hold, releasing Naruto back to Sasuke. You still held the kunai, until you grabbed the [f/c] ribbon out of your hair, running your thumb across your initials, and tied it around the hole and back onto your ponytail. Naruto stuck up a finger in protest, to which you responded with "It's mine now".

All of you stood there once more, an awkward silence forming between the three of you. You began rocking back and forth on the heels of your feet in discomfort. "So," you said sheepishly, "I-I'm [y/-"

"We know who you are, [y/n]." Sasuke said arrogantly, cutting you off. You looked away, anger boiling your blood.

'Who the hell does he think he is ? I was just trying to be nice.' You thought. You clenched your fists tightly, thinking of all the ways to murder him without getting caught by the police. Mentally shaking your head, you eased your hands and faced him once more. Again, you looked into his dark orbs. You were trying to figure out exactly what you wanted to say to him. Then, the perfect murder popped into mind. Just as you were about to explain to him your lovely plan, Naruto cut you off.

"Well since we're done introducing each other, let's get going." He said, grinning and rubbing his stomach. "I'm starving!" You looked at him, a smile growing on your face at his enthusiasm for food, and followed him into the town.

on the downside though, it's really short and I updated wayy later than I planned and I'm sorry about that :( I'll keep working towards the next chapter and hopefully I'll have it out soon!! bye <3
