Brandon woke up, his head was still spinning. It felt like he was so wasted that it'll last for about a year. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, when he looked around, he wasn't in his room. Everything was in pastel as opposed to the monochromatic look of his room. Someone stirred beside him and he looked over. A petite woman emerged from under the sheets, it was Dianne.

Shit.

Brandon rubbed his face roughly.

Did I really sleep with her? Brandon, you are such an idiot!

Last night was all a blur. Did he drink too much?

"Good morning." Dianne said in a sleepy voice. She sat up and wrapped her arms around Brandon. "I can't believe it, you were a virgin." She said with a giggle.

Brandon looked at her.

"Relax. You were so great." Dianne said; putting emphasis on the word great.

Brandon felt like he shit already. "This never should've happened. I..."

Dianne's smile dimmed. She lowered her head and bit her lip. "You have a girlfriend...I know, you told me last night after six rounds of tequila." She looked up and a smile brightened her face. "She must not know that you are so good in bed, because if she did, she would've slept with you already."

Brandon looked at this woman. What the heck is she saying right now? "My girlfriend is not that kind of girl."

Dianne smiled a seductive smile. "I'm not that kind of girl either." She said giggling as she gave Brandon a kiss on his lips making him froze.

"Relax. This will be our little secret." She winked at him. "I promise."

Sean was taking photos today for a children's party. It's not really what he wanted to do but he needs money for his rent, food, and other bills. He'd very much prefer to work in nature photography as opposed to take pictures of snooty little kids and their rich parents.

Sure, he's one to talk because he'd already had these kinds of birthday parties when he was younger but truth be told he never really appreciated and liked it because it seemed too suffocating and unrealistic in his part. Throwing an extravagant party for your child's birthday isn't really Sean's style.

"Mr. Photographer, could you please take a picture of my son's ice sculpture before it melts. It costs about ten thousand dollars."

Sean nodded, as he turned to take the stupid ice sculpture's picture, he rolled his eyes. Snooty children and their snooty parents: A Perfect Combo to ruin his day. It's a good thing that this gig pays well.

After several hours of taking pictures of crying kids, Sean felt like he hiked the top of Mount Everest because the day was so tiring. "Here's your pay."

Sean looked up and he was in front of the birthday celebrant's mother. He forced out a smile and took the envelope that was extended in front of him. "Thank you." He replied.

The woman smiled a seductive, watery smile. It made Sean cringe a little. Psycho.

"My husband is in a business trip, if you want, you can come up to my room." She said, mustering up her sexy voice. Sean looked at the woman as if she was possessed.

She is not only a psycho but she is a slut too. A slutty psycho.

"I'm not interested." Sean said point blank.

"I can make it worth your while," she paused, eyeing Sean who was wearing a white shirt, ragged jeans, his red and black plaid long sleeves tied across his waist, and his converse shoes a little muddy.

"Mrs. Bateman, like I said, I'm not interested, I will never be." He said, haughtily pausing as he grabbed his camera bag. Mrs. Bateman seemed dumbstruck. "For the record, your party sucks and I could care less if you and your other slutty, gossipy friends will never hire me."

Without letting the woman gat a word in edgewise, Sean walked away and went to his new second hand car. He traded his BMW for a good old beetle which is more of his style anyway.

After another late night at the office, Andy Lee decided to buy food. She spotted a food truck and she went towards the line with eight people. As person after person ordered, Andy kept on remembering how Brandon ignored her texts and calls last night. She kept on telling herself that he was just busy with work but somehow her thoughts still manages to go to the negative side of things.

As the last customer before her finished ordering, an old friendly looking man came face to face with her. "Oh, hey Andy, it's been awhile."

Andy smiled. "It's been awhile too, Mr. Marshall, how've you been?"

"I've been good." He looked at Andy's bulky shoulder bag and the portfolios in her hands. "Busy day at work, eh?" he asked. Andy smiled at the old man.

"Busy doesn't even begin to describe it." She sighed.

"Well, at least you're earning, right?"

"You said it." She laughed. "Anyway, I'll have the chicken fries with honey glaze with honey-curry deep and Hong Kong style stir-fried rice and bottled water."

"Coming up."

After getting her order Andy sat on a nearby bench and began eating. Her phone began to buzz and she easily brightened thinking that it was Brandon calling but as she took her phone out her bright smile dimmed. It was just her boss.

"Andy?"

"Yes?" She asked.

"I know it's pretty late but I'd like to congratulate on a job well done. I love your photography skills sweetheart. This month's issue will be our best! I'll let you go now, good night!"

Andy smiled to herself again. This was the first time that her boss praised her work. Usually, there were a lot of errors that she sees in Andy's work but it seemed very different now. Andy ate happily and waited for Brandon to text her.

"Honey glazed chicken and a honey-curry dip.Yum!"

Andy looked over and saw Sean in his beetle. "Nice wheels, Mr. Vermont, is that a new model?" She said jokingly.

"It's an old 1969 beetle, a great trade in for my 2016 BMW. Don't you think?" He smirked, raising an eyebrow.

"It has its own charms." She agreed. Andy always wanted a beetle—even if it's just secondhand. There was something comforting about an old car. As Brandon got out his parked car, Andy offered him chicken fries.

"Thanks." He said taking one and eating it. "What's with the bag? Are you moving out or something?" He nodded towards the big bag.

"Oh no...those are the things that I need to finish at home." She said.

"Nice. Good luck with that Dora the Explorer." Sean said, chuckling.

"And why am I Dora the Explorer?" She asked him point-blank

Sean shrugged. "Well, Dora carries a bag that would get her through her adventures," Sean paused smiling at Andy. "Kind of like your bag, but yours is a little bit bulky..."

Andy smiled. "Wow, thanks for comparing me to a cartoon character, that makes me feel really better." She said sarcastically.

Sean chuckled. "My pleasure, Ms. Lee."

Suddenly rain started to pour ever so lightly. They went for cover but Sean decided to play under the rain and he even dragged Andy with him.

"What's with you?!" Andy asked him as she rubbed the water out of her face.

"You just seemed like you needed something to wake up." Sean said as he closed his eyes and felt the rain soaking all of his being. "The rain soothes you. It makes you forget your problems."

Andy decided to close her eyes. This seemed to be the start of an awesome and endearing friendship between two photographers.
