I brought Hunter to the nurse and she told me to wait.

*30 minutes later*
Hunter walked out, with less blood on his face.

"poor you" I laughed standing up.

"hey" Hunter said, but not looking at me.

"hi, just wanted to make sure you were okay"

I turned around to see ella standing there.

"yeah I'm okay" Hunter smiled.

"well, um are you guys coming to sit with us at lunch?" she asked.

"yeah of course. rora, you coming?"

"no, im good" I said looking at the wall.

"hey you okay" Hunter asked reaching for my hand. I pulled away.

"you guys go, im not feeling well" I said as a tear fell down my cheek. they didn't see since I was looking the other way.

Hunter and Ella walked out as I sat down and let tears fall down my face.

how do I let this happen

I said I wouldn't let this happen. I knew it wasn't going to end well.

I pulled out my phone and texted my friend jack.

I texted my mom and told her I was going home.

I went to my locker and looked at it. I don't even want to come back to this hell hole. I grabbed my bag and a few of my binders and locked my locker. I walked upstairs to Miss Drake's room.

"heyyy" she said as I opened the door.

"im gonna check out early today..." I said sitting down.

"rora you said you wouldn't do this in high school." she said disappointed.

"I know I know, it's just. today isn't the day. this is the only time I promise Miss D." I said standing up.

"okay, we'll get out of here before everyone gets back from lunch. I'll see you tomorrow." she said opening the door for me.

"be safe" she called out. I waved as I ran down the stairs. I heard the bell ring for everyone to leave lunch.

I started to walk a little slower but the teachers came out last so I think I'll be okay.

"where are you going?"

I turned around and saw Hunter

"why do you want to know. doesn't seem like you care" I gritted my teeth, full of anger.

"what's up with you? I don't know what I did."

"stick with Ella. she's great. I'll see you around" I said walking out of the side door. it was still pouring out. my mascara was running and my hair was terrible. I walked all the way home and I was drenched. it took about 10 minutes to get home.

"get inside" my mom called from the window. I opened the door and walked inside. I threw my bag out of the ways ripped off my shirt and pants.

"I'M PISSED" I yelled throughout my house.

"why are you nude?" my mom asked as she walked out of her room.

"I'm not, I have my bra and underwear on!" I said posing and smiling. she laughed at me and kissed my forehead.

"you're soaked go change sweetie and I'll order some food and then we can talk about what's wrong" she walked downstairs. I smiled as I closed my door.

I love my mom more than anyone
