Dear Peter,
Everyday I get to see you, and everyday you surprise me in a new way. Whether it hits me that it's ridiculous that seeing you makes me happy, or realizing that a smile from you can change my day.
Some crushes hit you at the randomest times in the weirdest ways. All you did was make a simple joke, because by chance we were thrown together for all of a few seconds. Unconsciously I laughed, I don't know why though. It wasn't very funny. Normally I would have apologized for getting in your way, so scared of confrontation.
Now almost everything about you intrigues me. From the small stories you tell, to the big moments that define your life. I commend you on the fact that you're so open about so many things. I can barely state what I had for breakfast without overthinking is this to personal for me to share.
Then there's the looks. Certain instances you give me these looks. I crave them, the good ones at least. Your eyes just linger sometimes and I can't help but catch them sometimes. I guess that's a fault on my part, but when you like someone, I guess every part of you, no matter how scared of rejection, is just itching to know what that other person thinks.
So here I am. Falling asleep thinking of you, when you just barely know my name. I guess a part of me wishes and hopes that maybe, just maybe you could like me back, but maybe I'm to afraid to find out what would happen if you did.
Yours Always,
Rosie <3
