Chapter 4

Harry's POV

I walked up to my room only to find Jo asleep on the floor. I pick her up and grab my phone from the floor. One new text I opened it up and read it get animals from Brian's house. It was sent from my phone to my phone. I laid Jo on the bed and looked at her.

" I'm so sorry love I'm sorry for not being there for you or taking you to school on your first day or tucking you in. I'm so sorry for not do everything a father should do. I'm going to make it up I promise I wish it didn't take a death for me to meet you and love you but it did and I'm so sorry for that. I'm sorry for being a horrible father and not contacting Caroline or you. I'm sorry for not having tea parties with you and not making you laugh I'm sorry for all my screw ups. I'm going to be there for you from now on ok. I promise. I love you." I had tears streaming down my face when I was done I kissed jo's forehead and pulled the blankets up to her chin.

I walked down the stairs and sat down on the couch. All the other guys were asleep. So I sat on the couch and cried I cried into my hands. I was such a shitty father. She deserves so much better than me.

" hazza what's wrong?" Louis asked. I looked up at him as he came and sat down next to me.

" Jo she deserves some one s-so much b-better than m-m-me." I cried harder.

" that isn't true. You didn't even know you had a child." Lou said.

" but I should have called Caroline or written or texted some thing I don't know I I just want her to have a good life." I turned into Louis shoulder and cried.

" shhhh haz it's ok she is going to have a good life you can't go back and change that you weren't there for her but you can be there for her now. She needs you." Lou comforted.

" Lou how am I going to be a father I'm only 19 I'm irresponsible and know nothing about children what do they eat or like or do I don't know and I just want her to be safe and happy and in good hands."

" I know and we are going to get through this it will get easier and we are all going to be going through it together. And food children eat food." Lou said with a smile.

" thanks Louis." I sighed.

" any time now go to sleep." I nodded and laid down.

Next day

Jo pov

I woke up and got dressed in jeans and a t-shirt I pulled on my white converse and my base ball hat.

I slid down the banister and walked into the kitchen pouring some coffee into my cup. I sat down and grabbed the newspaper flipping to the sports section. It was all about football the British kind I like baseball and American football I was after all born in America and lived there till I was 7.

" haha you look like Liam." I heard a snap and looked up to find Harry chuckling.

" you have a crappy sports section here." I said wrinkling my nose.

" where are you from because you said mama instead of mum or mummy?" Harry asked.

" America born and raised we moved here when I was 7 it sucks it's always cold and wet and I want to go home."

" ohh."

"can we go get my animals I miss them?" I asked.

" sure...... Where are they?" Harry looked confused.

" At Brian's house at this address." I handed Harry a piece of paper and got up.

" ok come on." Harry got his keys and I walked outside into the black rang rover.

I walked up to Brian's house and rang the door bell.

" hey jojo." Brian greeted me.

" hey bri." Leo came to the door and looked at me. He immediately came running out to me.

" hey Leo did you miss me I missed you to baby yes I did I love you ugh I missed you so much." I said.

" thank you bri it really helped me a lot to know they were safe."

" no problem my mom loves having animals in the house any ways."

" I got to go Harry is waiting for me bye." I waved as I turned around.

" bye jojo bye Leo rasco hobo and lola." Brian called after me. I put hobo Lola and rasco in the back of the car and let Leo up front with me.

"are you going to introduce me to your friends?" Harry asked eyeing Leo who was quite big. He was a huge mastiff.( if you don't know what that is its a very large dog breed.)

" this is Leo" I said petting the dog who was much bigger than me he weighed 306 pounds.

" this is rasco." I pointed to the little black tea cup pig.

" hobo is the orange cat because I found her in a box."

" and that is Lola." I pointed to the black and white chicken. " don't worry she's litter box trained so is the cat and pig the dog goes outside actually rasco goes out too."

" you're running a farm aren't you."

" I like animals I can't turn them away I found them all and saved Lola and rasco from getting killed and eaten I couldn't let that happen." I smiled and kissed Leo on his head.

" do they all get along?" Harry questioned.

" yeah they all love each other we're all just one big happy family." I laughed.

" ok crazy. I need to go by the hospital to pick something up. Is that ok?" Harry glanced at me.

" yeah" I smiled. I was in such a surprisingly good mood considering what happened. I just thought if I acted as if it didn't happen it will make it as though it didn't. Stupid I know but it was working so far.

We pulled up to the hospital and I got out Leo hot on my heels of course he followed me every where. I walked in the familiar smell of sickness sorrow and cleaning products overwhelming. Harry walked up to the front desk and got a folder from the receptionist.

" ok we can go home." he said giving me a smile.
