Pinkie Pie. That's how some people would describe me. She could actually be my spirit animal. I mean we have many things in common. We have curly hair, there is always a smile on our face and of course, we LOVE to throw parties! I wasn't really the party animal in middle school, but then I hit high school where every cliche thing could happen including the late night parties.
It was the beginning of Sophomore year and my friend, Kendra, wanted to go sneak into a party that was held by a senior. Now the old me didn't want to go because a party wasn't really my scene, but Kendra wouldn't take no for an answer and I'm kinda glad that she forced me to go. Ever since that party, I couldn't get enough of that party vibe feeling. The semi-dark room with lights floating and the loud upbeat music kinda vibe.
That's when I decided that I wanted to be a party planner and open my own store. My dad wasn't really fond of the idea, he wanted me to be a doctor like him, but I never really liked being in the hospital. After the business was up and running, he saw that I was doing fine, well financially anyway. It wasn't easy but with the help of Kendra, I got to my goal. Even though the store is under my name, Kendra and I work together like partners in business. Kendra right now is the receptionist in Party 4 Ever. Yes I know cheesy but hey the name got people coming to my store.
"Yo Rosie, you there?" Shouted a familiar voice. With a knock, Kendra came in with the ultimate party planner book. This book was like the holy grail to us party planners, well at least to me and Kendra it was. Currently we just finished planning an engagement party and the couple of this party are so goals, like actual goals. They look like they came out of a movie or a romance novel.
"I'm so excited for the engagement party tommorow" I said excitedly. See being a planner has it's perks, we get invited to every party, I mean it'd be weird right if you didn't invite the people who made this party happen, not to sound arrogant or anything.
"Yessss me too!! Ahhh I hope I find love like that someday" Sighed a dreamy Kendra. Getting up from my chair, I patted Kendra on the shoulder.
"All in good time mi amiga, all in good time" Kendra just laughed and playfully shoved me.
"Hey since it's almost night, do you want to head on home?" Kendra begged silently, she was always the lazy one but she gets the work done. I was pretty tired too so it sounded like a good idea.
"Yeah, I want to get a good nights rest for tomorrows party" With that being said, I packed my bag up and we headed out from the back of the store. As we walked to the front, I saw Jackie, one of the employees, organizing one of the shelves.
"Hey Jackie, we're heading out, don't forget to lock up and have a great weekend" I said as I waved at her.
"Don't worry I won't forget and ya'll have a great weekend too" Waving at me and Kendra, Jackie got back to work.

After we reached home, we decided to order some pizza. Yes me and Kendra live in one place, we thought it would be easier to discuss plans and it's better than living alone. Grabbing the cheesy goodness from the box, I headed towards the living room to see what Kendra was laughing about. I come to see her holding a magic 8 ball. Me being the mature person, I just rolled my eyes at her child like toys.
"Kendra you know those don't even work" I sighed as I sat down next to her, stuffing the pizza in my mouth. I know ladylike, right? Kendra just muttered a whatever and looked at me with an evil look. I just stared at her with a blank expression.
"What?" I asked taking another bite of my pizza. This pizza is so good, I wonder how they do it? Do they have som-
"Will Rosie find a lover in the next couple of days?" I choked on my thoughts, well my pizza, when Kendra shook the ball. Here I was hacking my lungs out while my 'BFF' was just waiting for the stupid ball to make a prediction. A false prediction may I add.
After calming down from my coughing fit, no thanks to Kendra here, I got up to get a glass of water, not before glaring at Kendra who was smiling at the stupid thing. I took a glass and poured myself some water. Then after taking a sip, I walked out to the living room again.
"ROSIE! Look what the ball predicted!" Shouted Kendra raising her hands up so I can see. I took the ball from her and looked at this so called 'prediction'. Yes Love Will Be Found, the ball read.
"Kendra this is obviously false" I scoffed. Leave it to Kendra to believe everything she sees on TV. "Just because a ball says something doesn't mean it's going to come true" I said giving her a duh look.
"Yeah, yeah, well just you watch. You never know, you might meet this lover tomorrow!" Said a hopeful Kendra. I just shook my head and got up from the couch, making my way to the kitchen to dump my trash. I yelled a goodnight to Kendra and headed towards my room.
I went to the bathroom, did my routine and hopped into bed. I looked at the ceiling thinking about what Kendra said about me finding my lover tomorrow. I laughed internally. Yeah right Kendra like that's going to happen, I thought before falling into a slumber.
