Too soon

Vanessa's pov
It's been a week since we fell into the so called 'underground', and Rose has been much more stable with her breakdowns since she saw Asgore was a friend to us. I've been happier too, and he even let us call him our dad. I smiled as I watched Asgore and Rose baking a pie together, Asgore laughed as Rose made her own special little jokes, he didn't quite get them, but he pretended to, the same way I do.
"Why did the doctor stop treating me?" She asked and twirled around in the new pale blue dress asgore bought her, it was loose and flowed in the wind like a small poncho. The sleeves were too long for her arms, and she would play with them just like she did with the ones on her strait jacket when it was undone "I don't know dear, why?" He asked, she snickered before replying "couldn't tell ya!" She joked, Asgore chuckled, trying to be nice as Rose laughed happily like it made perfect sense. I changed the song on my headphones as the two kept waiting for the pie to finish baking, I looked for another Melanie Martinez song. I smiled when I came across one, but my face grew pale as the song played.
I was supposed to be hearing Dollhouse ,but something was wrong "hey girl, runaway open the walls, play with your dolls my doll we'll be a perfect family, when you walk away I'll take her is when we really play I'll play with your life you don't hear me when I say......sa-say-s-sa-SHES MINE" I threw the headphones off my head and into my neck as I stopped the song, Rose and Asgore looked at me with confusion as I gasped for breath "is there a problem, invertebrate?" Rose asked and walked over to me, I jumped slightly as a dinging sound filled the room, pies done.
I told then what I heard and tried to play the song again, but it was normal like before, no demonic glitchy voice cutting into the song. "I-I'm telling the truth!" I pleaded, as Asgore tried to clam me down "you probably heard it wrong, common, let's go calm down with some pie!" He said happily and tried to take us to the table to eat, Rose stayed in place and I did the same "she's not lying with her mouth as she breathes in someone else's fib." Rose protested, I nodded and Asgore stared sadly at us for a moment before letting out a sad sigh. "Come with me." He said in less than a whisper, he went to the hall and began walking down some stairs and into a dark purple hallway, the two of us nervously following close behind.
He led us to a large door at the end of the moldy hallway "this is the exit of the ruins, once you go through that door you can't come back, I'm not going to hold you two back like I did the others. I've tried to keep you safe, but it isn't working. Please, get a goodnight sleep and head through that door tomorrow. For my sake, I don't want to see you both sad or hurt." He said in tears, I tried to protest, but he lead us back upstairs and sent us both strait to bed with no other words.
Rose climbed into the covers and kicked the stuffed owl on to the floor, she liked it at first but is now freaked out at the fact that every morning she would wake up and see it besides her.
I laid on the stuffed tiger and closed my eyes for a few seconds, only to hear a piercing scream coming from downstairs.

Roses pov
Me and Vanessa bolted down the stairs as the house grew dead silent, fear crept up on me as I remembered what I saw my first sleep here, two red eyes hiding in the dark beside my bed. I shivered at the thought and yelped as I hit the bottom of the stairs with a thud.
Vanessa pulled me along frantically as we neared the end of the hallway where the scream came from, ever since the music on her phone changed she's been weary and jumpy. I wonder what the voice said?
I was the first to see it, Vanessa almost tripped on a stone so she was regaining her balance when I let out a shrill scream as I looked at the corpse in front of us, Asgore.

Vanessa's pov
On the ground was Asgores bloody body, his throat was slit brutally and his arms were ripped behind his back. I went pale as I heard my headphones on my neck playing ,I turned the music up slowly so Rose could hear 'tag you're it' faintly playing on its own. "Eeny meeny miny mo take asgore and slit his throat if they scream don't let them go." My heart rate quickened as I turned down the music, glancing at Rose who was staring into the corner with fear shaking her body. I slowly turned my head and let out a shrill scream when I saw a figure  in the darkness, it tilted its head before a glitchy chuckle filled the area.
I grabbed the now mumbling rose and brought her to the door "the devils here now." She mumbled as I pounded on the door, ripping at it with all my strength as I started to pry the door open. Rose started screaming as soft footprints could be heard making there way over to us.
I put Rose in front of me and told her to cover her eyes as I yanked at the door with all my might, constantly ripping the skin off my fingers as the rust snagged it when my hands slipped. The footsteps grew louder as the door became open enough for us to fit through. I cried in triumph and fear as I tried to get Rose out first, but she started thrashing and screaming when I put my hand on her. I turned my head to her and screamed when I saw there was another one on her other arm, she thought the other hand was me, so she turned her head to face whatever had its hand on her and started screaming. It covered her mouth with it's other had and tried to pull her away from me as I yanked the door open, but Rose opened her mouth and bit the hand, so hard her face was red.
Whatever it was let out a scream of surprise. but the odd thing was the scream changed pitches or cracked with static, it let go of Rose as I shoved her through the rusted door to the other side. I turned my head around to confront whatever it was before it got through the door, but I felt a chill up my spine when I realized I was now alone.

Roses pov
I ran out into freezing snow, I winced as I looked around and saw we were in darkness, the underground has no sun but I could tell it was late at night, Vanessa came out the door and pushed it shut frantically with bloody hands.I watched her with fear as the odd chuckle and the taste of metal filled my senses. Asgores dead, his body flashing in my mind as a faint feeling of self blame filled my aching heart. Vanessa came over to me and put  a red hand on my shoulder, I was still in remorse so I flinched in fear making her pull me into a hug "it's alright Rosie, it's me." She said, she then pet my hair to calm me down as we started walking through the dark snow.
"what did you see?" Vanessa asked after a long silence, I stopped walking and turned my head to her "eyes of red."

I felt my hand, there was red static all over it where she bit me. I stared at the closed door and scowled when I realized who the two were going to meet next, I felt my hand and smiled when I felt her teeth marks, they felt good. I realized I was drooling as I opened a portal and stepped into the anti-void, hoping to think up a new way to get rid of Vanessa and take Rose as soon as I can. She's become my obsession in less than a month, I killed for her. And I won't stop the murder spree here.
