I walk up the stairs with Perrie, our hands linked together as we walked up to our apartment.
"Babe," she cooed, stopping in her tracks "I don't - I don't feel well." she said, holding her hand over her stomach.
I took out my keys in a hurry and dragged her behind me, concern driving all over my body as I pushed the door open and took her inside.
She rushed to our bathroom and opened the toilet lid, kneeling down in front of it and letting everything out of her mouth.
I looked away, and put my hand to my head. What was going on? She was fine. I don't get why she's sick all of a sudden.
"Babe," she cooed "do you still have that pregnancy kit on you?"
I nodded, "Yeah yeah I do." I answer as I run to the drawers and looked through each and every one, rushing.
Spotting the rectangular box, I picked it up and shut the drawer, opening the packet and taking out one.
"Here," I answer, handing it to her while looking away "I'll wait in the kitchen."
"Yeah ok." she answered as she vomited one last time, before getting up and sitting on the toilet.
I walked out and sat by the stool at the bench, taking a bottle of water and chugging the liquid down my throat.
I rest my head on my arms as I closed my eyes and hoped it was nothing serious. If the test came out negative.. she's gonna be a wreck. She shouldn't have to experience things like this in a row. Yet in a day.
Moments later I turned around to a crying Perrie, her blue eyes once again filled with tears as she shook her head, "Babe." she cooed.
I stood up immedietly and wrapped my arms around her neck, rubbing her back for comfort, "It's ok. We can always try again. Yeah?"
She shook her head and laughed, "No."
"Wait what? What do you mean no? Like not try again?"
"Just listen to me," she smiled, cupping my cheek and looking into my eyes "I'm pregnant."
My jaw drops, and my heart races as her two words, "You're joking." I say.
She shook her head, "I think we were supposed to have twins," she laughed "I had vanishing twin syndrome."
"That's actually a thing?" I asked confused.
"Yeah," she laughed "but hey,"she said holding up the postitive pregnancy test "we have a baby."
I smiled, laughing and taking in the tears as I pulled her off the floor and spun her around. "I am beyond happy baby girl."
