The 50's

introduction

this story is completely fictional, I'm not sure is there even is a city named Cloverdale in California. now I'm just going to tell you a little bit about the characters, so you feel like you know them before being set back in the 50's.

James Dennis - Punk attitude, Jock (football), a bit of a trouble maker, very smart but hides it so he doesn't get made fun for it. Moved from Jupiter, FL. Only child, can be very sweet when he wants too be.

Maloney Finn Dennis - James's mother, has trouble conceiving children, (hence why they only have one child) Sweet lady, Concerned for James because they had to move so far away from all his friends.

Robert Dennis - James father, harder on James than his mother, feels as if James needs to always be better, will never be happy with James even though James tries his best to prove Robert wrong. Robert is very wealthy, he made some very good investments. He becomes a heavier drinker after time.

Nancy Williams - Sweet loving girl, who will spend more time helping others, rather than taking care of her self. Top of her academic class, she never brakes the rules because she finds no use in doing so, keeps a journal, because she thinks she will forget about all her memories if she doesn't. She has also never had a boyfriend and never even kissed a guy for that matter, she loves being just a small town girl.

Ron Williams - Nancy's baby brother, just born 2 months ago.

Linda Gil Williams- Very old fashioned, strict mother, but loving, doesn't want her daughter to grow up around trouble makers. She wants the best for her daughter and will go to any length to get it. She had an arranged marriage with Dean, and doesn't truly love him.

Dean Williams - Hopelessly in love with Linda, loves all his children and couldn't ask for any more, but does know his wife doesn't love him, he tries so hard to get Linda to love him, but deep down knows the truth. Hard working man, middle class, and over all an amazing person at heart.
