I'm Not Famous

Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I said sleepily unsure who was on the other end of the phone.
"Did I wake you?" Skylar asked.
"Yes you did." I reply a little irritated.
"Good! now open your door." She near squeals.
I jump out of bed and open the door to see Skylar standing at my door with a suitcase.
"Skylar! What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Well I figured I couldn't let my best friend go to a huge city all by herself I thought you would want me to join you on your adventures." She said
"Your awesome!" I say giving her a hug.
"I know." She said laughing.
"How long are you staying?" I asked.
"I'm not sure yet,maybe I'll like it so much I'll move here too." She said jokingly.
She put her stuff in the living room and investigated my small apartment.
"Your apartment is small but it's so cute, it's perfect for you!" She said looking around.
"I know I love it! I can't wait to decorate and now I have help!" I say.
"I'm starving I haven't eaten anything, and you just woke up, we should go get something to eat." Skylar suggested.
"Okay let me get dress first" I reply.
I put on dark jeans, a light blue tank top, and a pair of converse, put my hair in a messy bun and we leave.
We walked around the city looking for somewhere to eat. We find a small diner and decide to eat there.
We walk in and sit at a booth.
"Those guys over there are really hot!" Skylar says loud enough for only me to hear. I ignore her not paying attention to who she was talking about.
"That one is checking you out." She said
"I highly doubt that." I said turning around to see the most beautiful guy I had ever seen.
He had brown hair, a beautiful face.
"You think he's hot don't you?"she said smiling.
"He is attractive, but I'm not going to go get his number or anything I'm not looking for a relationship. School is starting in the fall and I need to focus on that, no distractions." I say clearing wanting to change the topic.
"Okay, Okay, but he was checking you out."she says leaving the subject alone.
My ex boyfriend Tyler and I broke up after graduation, we had been dating for 3 years but decided that we wanted different things and didn't want to have a long distance relationship. It was hard but I was getting over it.
Skylar and I finished our food, paid and left the diner.
About 3 minutes after we head someone yelling.
"Hey you forgot your phone!" The voice yelled running towards Skylar and I.
We turned around to see the cute guy from the diner running towards us. With my phone.
