I woke up to my hamster running around his cage like a crazy animal. However, I understand why. Today marks two weeks since Jackson's first day here at the Barn. Because of our great flirtations, I began to pray since last night to be exact. Well, i've been praying for myself really. I just don't want all of this luck to one day, just die out. My luck is helping me with the guy I really like. His name's Jackson; but you already know that. Once I got out of my warm, colorful bed I started to think about all the wonderful things I could do today with Jackson. We could go swimming in my Aunt's pool around the block from my house. Maybe we could watch a Netflix movie for our break from work today. Or take the horses on a longer ride than we normally do. We can even prank call our friends because that's always frickin hilarious. I'm getting carried away again. Anyways, I heard Jackson quickly knock on the front door to let me know he's here. Yesterday, I gave him a rusty blue key so he could just come anytime he wants.
"Hey Jackson." I wave to him and smile. I really need to step up my game if I want to date him, or at least flirt with him.
"How are you Hannah."
"You don't have to ask me that. I mean, I see you everyday." It's very difficult not to be a smart ass, but I can't help it sometimes. I'm just automatically funny.

"Okay Han." He glances over at my fresh bagel on the counter. "Could I eat this?"
I completely ignored what he said and asked, "Did you just call me Han?"
"Yeah, why. Is that not okay?" Jackson asks so politely.
"No, I like it Jack." I smile without showing my clean teeth and we both walk outside together. I want to grab his hand so badly but we're not on that level yet.

"I like your overalls Han."
"Thanks." There's a slight awkward pause. "Oh! I got a nickname for you!" I look up at him and smile.
"What is it?"
"Jay! You like?"
"Do I like? I love!" He grabs me and spins me in the air gently. I smell the sunflowers from in the middle of the field. We lay there on the grass and flowers to just take a deep breath and live life. I almost reached for Jay's hand but it wasn't right yet. The little birds are chirping and the sun is shining. I catch Jackson looking at my chest and I grin. He cutely sticks his pink tongue out, and my cheeks turn pink like always.

"The first time I met you, two weeks ago, your cheeks turned bright pink."
"It does that all the time. Don't feel special or anything."
"So now I'm not special Hannah?"
"I didn't say that." I act all cute. We're joking around and laying down in the middle of the meadow. All of a sudden he whispers into my ear,
"You wanna know something?"
"What Jay?"
"You're very special to me." Jackson looks at me right in my eyes and we both slowly get up from the bright green grass. I'm about to kiss him but we bump heads and laugh. Jackson jumps on top of me and I rap my legs around his waist. He looks so sexy right now; I wish we kissed.

"Hey Jackson, can you feed my pig Squirt for me?"
"Sure." He looks over at my face and says, "You look stunning. Wow."
I look up at Jackson with much surprise. "Thank you. But why?"
"What do you mean why?" He asks.
"Why do I look stunning? I'm only wearing some mascara and a little bit of contour around my cheeks." I explain to Jay.

Jackson looks extremely confused as i'm explaining all of this to him. "But Hannah, you really do. You really do look stunning." I lean towards his body. The tension is there. I could feel the connection between us. His muscular yet skinny arm moves towards mine. I grasp his hand and say, "I really like you Jackson Martinez. I really do." He leans his juicy, big lips towards mine.
All of a sudden, my Dad walks in and shouts, "What a wonderful day! Eighty somethin degrees, huh!" I roll my eyes as I look over to my father who ruined everything for me. I was about to kiss the hot and sexy Jackson Martinez but NO, my fricking Father had to walk into the Barn.

"Yes Will, what a beautiful..." Jackson pauses and secretly winks at me... "Day it is." I give him a cute smile as my Dad takes Gus out for a ride.

"Do you want Wendy's or Mc'Donalds?"
"Isn't it all the same stuff?" Jackson asks.
I look over at Jay and raise one perfectly arched eyebrow. "No, they're different."
"Whatever you say Princess." Jackson shows his white teeth. "You can get whatever you want."
"Mc'Donalds it is." I giggle and Jackson grabs my thigh and pulls me close onto his lap. This is the closest I've ever been with a guy before, but I love it.
In my head right now, I am freaking out but I know that Jackson is worth it.

"Jackson?"
"Yeah Han?"
"Could I tell you something?"
"Sure." Jackson looks up at me with his big sparkling eyes and his brown floppy hair.
"I think i'm falling for you," I say.

Jackson pulls me in even closer. Waist on waist. I'm so close to kissing him and Jackson gives me a big hug. He holds me tight as we hug for two minutes.

'A hug?! No kiss??' I'm thinking. What happened to the kissin part. I was so confused and I eventually slowly and calmly move away from him. I make my way out the front door of my home and say, "I've got to go get the food," and I slam the wooden door shut.

Maybe it's all just a mind game, or maybe he does like me but is afraid.
