Zach's POV
It's been a few weeks since Danny stabbed Hayley. Hayley could finally go home. The doctor told us we could have children but we have to be even more careful if we do. We went home and my parents and sister were there. My mom saw Hayley and gave her a gentle hug. My dad came up to me and gave me a hug.
While the girls were talking in the living room me and dad started talking about if I should propose to Hayley or not. "I think I should because we love each other," I said when I hear a knock on the door. "Hello?" Hayley asked opening the door. "Hayley?" The person outside said. "Kendra?" She asked. Kendra came in and started to talk with the others.
When they left, I cooked dinner for both me and Hayley. When we were done I did the dishes and picked up Hayley by the waist and carried her to our room. I gently set her down on the bed and started to kiss her. We took off our clothes and tried again just more careful.
I woke up and saw Hayley staring at me. "Good morning sweetie," I said. "Good morning Hun," she said back. "Well I have to get ready for work and I will be home a little later to get something. I got up and took a shower. After the shower I got out and got dressed. I could tell that Hayley was already making breakfast. I went downstairs and saw my favorite girl standing in the kitchen with one of my shirts on cooking breakfast. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "How about when I get home we go out for dinner," I say. "I would love that it has been a long while since we had a date," she said. "Yes it sure has been a long time," I said agreeing.
After breakfast, I said goodbye and kissed her and went to work. "Good morning Mr. Wilston," said my new assistant Kendall Monroe. "Good morning Ms. Monroe. Is there any meeting today?" I ask her. "Not today sir just a boring day," she answered. "Indeed it will be. Thank you Ms. Monroe," I said. "Your welcome sir," she said. I went to office and worked on paperwork.
After work I went over to the jewelers and picked out a beautiful ring because I was going to ask Hayley to marry me tonight. I bought the ring and put it in my pocket and went home. "Hello sweetie are you ready?" I asked. "Yes I am," she said coming out of the living room. She wore a beautiful red dress that hugged her figure. She also wore a little bit of makeup and her hair was in curls. She wore red high heels to match her dress. "Wow you look beautiful but you always look beautiful," I said. To be honest I was getting pretty nervous to ask her. "Thank you and you look handsome like always," she said. "Thank you shall we go?" I asked. "We shall," she answered.
We got to the restaurant and got a table. "How was work?" She asked. "Boring nothing but paperwork," I answered. "Oh wow that is boring," she said. We got our food and started to eat. After we were done and paid the bill we went outside. "Hey sweetie can I ask you something?" I asked. "Yeah of course you can," she said. "Hayley Morson, will you do the honor of marrying me?" I asked going down on one knee and opening the box with the ring. She looked at me then the ring and back to me and said, "yes a million times yes!" I put the ring on her left ring finger and hugged her. So we went home and went to bed.
