Wedding Crushers

Addie was doing her own make-up, she was going the natural look with light grey eye shadow. To match her grey lace top dress and black 2 inch heels. There was a knock on the door as she finished. "It's open" she told who ever was on the other side. As she started to brush her hair and George entered the room. He stopped in his tracks when he saw how beautiful she was.

When he snapped out of his trance, he saw her put a dark grey head band in her hair. He hugged her and whispered "you look beautiful."

Addie blushed and returned the hug saying "you look handsome." They pulled apart and went downstairs after Addie grabbed her purse that had all her stuff in it. Due to an undetectable extension charm, Hermione did the same with her purse.

George went to finish setting up the marquee with the other wizards for the reception. Addie went to the living room and saw Hermione and the others sitting in front of a ministry official. He asked if she was 'Adeline Granger' she nodded. He asked her to take a seat.

She sat next to Hermione as he read Dumbledore's will. He had left Addie his phoenix 'Fawkes', Addie would have cried. But didn't want to ruin her make-up and she thanked him with the others. He left after giving everyone else their things from Dumbledore and it was time for the wedding to start.

(that night)

The ceremony was lovely and everyone cried tears of joy at the vows spoken by the couple. It was now time for the wedding party to dance. George held out his hand to Addie and she took it. They glided around the dance floor in an elegant waltz. Like they had done at the Yule Ball during the Triwizard Tournament. It was nice they could all forget the war for one night and celebrate love.

After the dance George pulled Addie to one side and began to speak. "Addie I've known you for seven years and have dated you for three of them years. I know this may seem sudden, but I have to say this before you leave." He started to bend down onto one knee as he said "I lov..."

Suddenly a Lynx Patronus flew into the marquee and landed on the table saying "their coming." Before it disappeared, that's when the attack started. George got up as he and Addie went their separate ways to find their families. But before Addie could find her sister after grabbing her purse, someone grabbed her arm tightly.

"You are not safe here" a voice said in her ear before they disapperated. When they appeared in a living room the person let go of her arm. She turned around to give who ever it was a piece of her mind, wand drawn. When she saw her old Professor and the person Dumbledore put in charge of her safety, Snape.
