Well, Only the Frisks, Sans-es and The Floweys (And Swap Tem) know that Chara is bad so they're the only ones answering this question
Classic Frisk: Well, it would be a big twist and I would be really shocked, I mean, Chara killed everyone! Even their own parents! But, yes, I think she can change!We honestly don't know why they connected the universes in the first place and everyone who doesn't know about timelines don't know she's 'evil'
