"Class, please turn to page thirty four, the second part of our review in psychology."

The class made groaning noises. The sounds of flipping paper filled the room. The seats beside the window were exposed in extreme heat of the sun. Only one student wasn't affected by the sunlight.

Ivy, she's got plenty to do on her schedule to care about psychology and sunlight. She took notes on her phone, of not what the teacher was blabbering about.

She closed her eyes, again imagining the feeling of Garroth's lips on her hers as she quietly swore to him that they will be together forever. And ever.

Ivy reached for her pencil that was stained with dried red liquor. She claims that it's red paint and snapped at them to mind their own business whenever anyone asked.

No one knew, the "red paint" was the red liquid that runs through a person's body, and the blood was from a girl whom everyone knew and praised, Teony.

She was gone, forever in vain and in poison's hands. Teony never suspected a fake note to meet up at her own house, where she dug up a massive hole to hide bodies, and later an already bloody axe flying, snapping her innocent neck.

Ivy hummed cheerfully as she thought about how much blood leaked and how Teony's head rolled and rolled to Ivy's feet. Her shocked expression remained, but her eyes were never as hollow and lifeless.

She chuckled the more she thought about it, and a sweet little chuckle grew to a creepy Yandere cackle. The class looked over at her, terrified.

"What did you think was so funny, Ms. Venom?" Their psychology professor stood up to her, out of all the cowardly teachers.

How amusing... she ended her cackle and smirked, "Nothing Professor Flame, I just find it funny how human emotions work." Half-truth, she did find this subject rather entertaining, and foolish.

"Oh? Would you explain to us why, exactly?" Professor flame tapped the chalk she was holding. Ivy was satisfied at how everyone gaped at here in fear. She wasn't really welcomed to join any conversation at all, because she neglects anyone that cross path with her. Anyone tries to be friendly, she snaps their neck the next second.

Her smirk turned into a hazy smile, as she stood and recited the whole article in pages thirty four to thirty five without even looking at her textbook:

(WARNING!! SUPER LONG BORING LECTURE OF PSYCHOLOGY ABOUT EMOTIONS AND MOTIVATIONS)

Emotions are feelings. They are states of being, like happy, sad or scared. In contrast, motivation is a goal-directed behavior. In other words, it is something that moves a person to act a certain way. Emotions and motivation are very closely linked to each other.

Scared can sometimes feel a lot like frustration, which can feel a lot like anger. Even when Julie's close to the boy she has a crush on, her heart races like she's scared. There are three aspects of emotion: environmental stimuli, physiological state and cognitive labeling of the emotion. Her physiological state is what she's physically experiencing: her heart is racing, her hands are sweaty and her breathing is shallow. The cognitive labeling is what she calls the emotion. In this case, attraction. But not every psychologist agrees on exactly what order the physiological state and cognitive labeling happens. Two major theories on how emotions develop are the James-Lange and Cannon-Bard theories of emotion.

The James-Lange theory of emotion says that people experience a physiological state, then scan the environment for a reason for the physiological state, and then cognitively label the emotion based on the environment. If her brain notices that Julie's heart is racing and her breathing is shallow and then it sees that she's in a dark alleyway, it might say, 'I'm feeling scared!' In the James-Lange theory, things happen very quickly, sometimes in only a few seconds. Julie isn't aware of her brain scanning her environment. To her, it feels like she is just experiencing the emotion.

Some psychologists prefer the Cannon-Bard theory of emotion, which says that the thalamus in the brain sends signals to the body and the cerebral cortex of the brain simultaneously. The signal to the body induces the physiological state of an emotion, while the cerebral cortex labels the emotion cognitively.

(THE SUFFERING HAS ENDED (YOU COULD'VE SKIPPED THAT BUT OK))

With everyone staring at her, the professor cleared her throat, pretending not to look in awe, "Ms. Venom, I didn't quite catch your po --"

"My point is," Ivy flipped her shampooed-last-night hair to her back to prevent from covering her aqua eyes, "Humans are pathetic." She sat back down, expecting questioning and looks shot at her.

The hallway was a wild comparison to the classroom, Ivy walked with her chin high, like she normally does. She's heading for her dark blue locker right behind... the love of her life, with his friends. They look so happy, she thought. She gulped and tried not to look like her heart was beating out of her chest. She calmed herself a little and was about to tap his shoulder -- When a basketball came for her head, her hair flying as she fell to her side.

And the noise in the hallway stopped. Everyone was staring at her, they knew she would kill anyone who did this to her. The boy who threw the basketball towards her already fled for his sake, which was the only thing smart to do. Ivy was covering her face, and under her hands was a lioness holding her anger. Until an attractive blonde with sky eyes reached down to her as everyone gasped and her heart stopped...

Garroth kneeled down as he reached out his hand with a worried expression on his prince-like face. "Are you alright?"
