Chapter 8

"Ryan Mckoy, why does the name sound familiar?" It took a couple of investigators to tell James that he was the boy that fell from the Hyde's tower last year. That got him thinking, what kind of drugs is that boy on? Telling him that his brother was killed by a ghost. "I need a smoke." James thought to his self. Looking for the nearest exit of the empty building. Yes, empty. They had to evacuate the school since two committed murders happened at the same building, couldn't risk a third. Both added up to a freak in a costume. James looks back at the drawing that Mark and Maleena described to our professional artists, it's almost ridiculous to believe in this kind of crap.

When James turned a corner, a kid bumped into him. He watches him fall on his narrow behind. "Kid, you really shouldn't be here." The kid shot his head up, locking his eyes with his own. He's exactly the same dark colored skin as his. The kid has really messy, faded dyed red hair. "What kind of parent allows a brother man to do this to his hair?"

"Sorry, i need to get to my locker." He got up and attempts to walk away from him, but he grabs him by the collar of his t-shirt.

"Where's your locker? I'll take you there." James watches his eyes look from left to right, then back at his again.

"Did i say i need to get to my locker?" He struggle with his words as he speaks. "I meant i needed to get to my locker, to get my backpack." He shows him his stuffed up book bag that's hanging from his back.

"Whatever kid," James look him up and down to get a visual of him. And man he looks ridiculous wearing combat boots with gym clothing. But the thing about this kid, something about him looks familiar, and it's not clicking. "Hey, have we met?"

"Us meeting? No way. Even though i have seen you play in the black dynamite series." James eyes starts to twitch at the mention of being compared to that dynamite character. Ever since that show was aired on adult swim, his nephews and nieces always called him that. Hell, he'd never heard the end of it at work. But at the same time, it is a bit funny.

"You got a smart mouth kid." He half way laughs. The kid smiles at the rude compliment i try to give him, then he looks at the clock hanging behind James.

"Wow look at the time! I gotta get going." He dashes through the hallway. James watches him hit a corner to the nearest exit.

"Hey kid, wait up!" He chases after him. Maybe he could offer him a ride, and ask a few questions. By the time he got outside, he was gone, out of sight. "Where did he go?" He thought to his self as he looks around the whole area, hoping to get a glimpse of him. "That kid must be in a hurry." He shrugs and walks back into the building, forgetting about what he really wanted to do.

As i sit hidden in a tree, i watch this agent investigator dude walk back into the school building. I sit here in silence, letting the wind and leaves slap my face. I'm really pissed at the fact that Mark survived my little game, surprised too. I thought the weight plates i used on them would've kept them pinned, guess i was wrong.

I jump down from the tree and continue thinking. Since i showed my face to Mark, he's going to tell his father everything. Then he could get the idea that he's on my kill list. It's an obvious puzzle. First, i targeted Mark's girlfriend, Maleena. Then i went after his two sons, then I'm ending it with him.

My thoughts halted immediately. My hair stands at end when someone tapped my shoulder. "Please don't tell me that dynamite caught up with me already." I thought to myself as i slowly turn to face someone different. Someone familiar. This someone i wasn't planning on seeing. Now how am i supposed to explain this.

"I thought you died," Mia said. "I saw you on the news. I saw them take you away." I watch as tears fall. Before she could continue speaking, i place my hands over her mouth.
