Chapter 12

Camila's POV

Throughout the movie Lauren and I would steal little glances at each other. She rested her hand on my thigh and I surely didn't mind. I rested my hand on top of hers and stroked the back of her hand with my thumb.

Soon the movie ended and Lauren and I broke away from each other.

"Aren't you gonna wake up Destiny?" I ask. "No imma just carry her and let her sleep." Lauren says.

She picks up Destiny bridal style and we make our way out of the theater and towards our dorm rooms. When we were walking back to my dorm we ended up passing everyone else's dorm. So we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

When we got to the front door of my room I unlocked the door and let Lauren go in first. She softly laid Destiny down in her bunk and covered her with her blanket. After she was done she turned towards me and wrapped her arms around me and pulled me close. I wrapped my arms around her neck and played with her little hairs.

"I really had a great time tonight Lauren." I smiled.

"Yeah me too. Hopefully next time I'll be able to taste you too." She whispered in my ear.

I blushed at her comment and put my face in the crook of her neck. "Yeah hopefully." We let go of each other and walk hand in hand towards the door not knowing that someone was secretly watching us.

We stepped outside into the hallway and closed the door. Lauren pinned me up against the wall and kissed me hard. I kissed her back until I heard a noise. I pushed Lauren away quickly and she looked at me with a confused face.

"Babe stop someone might see us." I whisper-yelled to her. Lauren backed away from me.

"Oh yeah your right I'll chill." Lauren paused for a minute. "Hey Camz re-"

"Camz?" I interrupted.

"Yeah Camz it's the nickname I gave you." She said.

"Well you never asked me if I was I okay with you giving me that nickname." I smirked

"Well it don't matter if your okay with it or not I'm gonna call you Camz whether you like it or not." I just stare at Lauren she can be so sassy at times.

"Anyway like I was saying Camz you remember when I told you to let me take you out on a date?" She asked.

I bite my lip and look into her eyes. "Yeah I remember."

"And do you remember what your answer was?"

I frown remembering that I basically called her an woman beater and an abuser. "Yeah and I'm sorry for what I said." I sadly looked down.

She grabbed my chin and lifted it up so our eyes would meet.

"Well I just thought I'd let you know that I accept your apology a-"

"Thank you so much because I really didn't mean to say that , I wasn't thinking and it was very rude of me to say that." I ramble on.

"Listen it's ok but I still wanted to know if you had possibly changed your mind and would let me take you out on a date?" She asked.

"I would love to go on a date with you Lauren. " I smile and bring her into a hug.

We let go of each other and continue to smile at one another.

"Ok cool so tomorrow I was thinking maybe I could show you around Miami you know with you being from Texas and everything you probably don't know much about what goes on down here in the great city of Miami." Lauren says while lifting her arms in the air.

"I'd love to for you to show me around the great city of Miami." I mimic her actions throwing my hands in the air.

"Perfect and let me tell you you won't regret it." She smirks at me.

Lauren's inspects the hallways making sure no ones around. When she realizes the coast is clear she grabs my waist and pulls me close once again. I wrap my arms around her neck and we both lean in for a passionate kiss.

After a few seconds we both pull away but our four heads are still touching. We both look into each others eyes and smile.

"You know there's still something of yours that I'm missing." Lauren says to me while biting her lip.

"Oh yeah and what would that be?" I ask leaning back against the wall.

Lauren brings her lips up to my ear and whispers. "Your number."

Lauren pulls her phone out of her pocket she unlocks it and hands it to me. I enter my phone number into her phone and save it under the contact name Camz🙈☺️. I text myself from her phone and save her number under the contact name Lolo🌎💚.

"Perfect so I'll see you later tonight for the party right?" Lauren says.

"Of course." I whisper looking in her eyes.

We pull apart and Lauren grabbed the back of my neck giving me one last pack on my lips. Then she slowly backed away from me once again and starts walking backwards down the hallway.

As she gets further and further away from me she whispered to me. "Bye I'll see you later tonight beautiful."

I blush at her sweet words and wave to her responding back to her. "I can't wait."

Once I see her leave the building of my dorm I open up my door and walk over to my dresser. I get out a pair of shorts and a tank top and quietly change into them seeing that Destiny is still fast asleep. I pull back my blanket on my bed and swiftly climb in. I laid my head back on my pillow taking a nap thinking about my green eyed girl.
