"Megan what the bloody hell is this?"
It was Monday evening and Megan's mother had just received a text about her actions in French that morning.
Shit shit shit shit s h i t ssss hhhh iiii tttt!!!
Megan was in the deepest shit yet to come and she had no way of getting around it.
"I'm not sure it must have been sent to the wrong person."
"Megan that's bullshit I know it was you so tell me the truth."
Megan was digging herself a bigger hole. Her mother knew exactly what she was like and Megan knew she was going to get way worse than killed if she lied any further.
"Whatever I was tired and she was annoying me so it slipped out."
"Stop being fucking cheeky you little scrub just because you grew up in the old fold doesn't mean you can talk shit like that to your teachers." Megan's mother was incredibly snappy that night. After having arranged her punishment, Megan found she was grounded for 3 months and had her phone, play station and all technology taken from her.
This is shocking.
Megan was currently sick of her life and didn't have the physical or mental strength to deal with the ghastly events happening in her life however as she was the hardest lad around she needed to stay strong on the outside. Meg hated showing her fear on the outside as she never wanted to ruin her hard lad reputation. Despite how hard she tried, she could never mask the awful gut feeling she had inside.****
Megan pulled the sheets further over her head to keep her warm as an awfully cold night was heading her way. It was slightly later than 11 p.m. and everyone in the house was well asleep. Megan, however, was not. As her cover lifted slightly, she could hear a low creaking sound coming from downstairs.
The cats must be fighting again..
The creaking stopped for a while and Megan relaxed. Only was it that she then sat volt upright when she noticed the creaking wasn't coming from the kitchen anymore. It was progressing up the stairs.
Could just be the house being dodgy.
Megan pulled her bed covers further up her face and hoped it would stop. She wanted to text Jade so badly but she had no phone. The creaking seemed to be right outside on her landing and Megan was frozen. It didn't sound like someone was walking through the house. It sounded like the whole house was being crushed to the ground and every with push it was groaning in pain. Megan had a cold sweat on and she was pretty sure her heart was going at 100 mph. When she thought things couldn't get any worse, the creaking noise began into an unwinding shriek until she actually noticed that was the noise of her bedroom door opening.A couple of minutes had passed after the bedroom door had fully opened and Megan was still lying, frozen. She didn't know what to do. Maybe if she lifted her quilt cover and looked then there might not be anyone there. What if she grabbed something sharp then she could fight someone, if anyone actually was there. She finally managed to pluck up the courage, after all it had been about 10 minutes, and lifted the bed covers off her face. It was completely black in the room therefore she couldn't make out anything suspicious just as she reached back to her quilt cover, something whispered, in a low, grumbling, monotonous voice:
"You shouldn't be up"----
