Chapter 3

The next day I was grabbing a book from my locker to swap out at the library, when someone walked up to me.

It was a guy with brown hair, green eyes, and braces. "Sup, my name is Cole." He said.

"Um...hello. My name is Ella." I said, then closed my locker.

"Hey Ella, you new here?"

"Well schools been in for three weeks now, so no not really, but this is my first year at this school."

"Grade?"

"12th"

"Age?"

"17"

"Boyfriend?"

"No, wait what is this? Is there a reason that you're asking me all of this?"

"Nope, just wondering" he said.

"Well, okay then." I closed my locker and prepared to leave.

Cole grabbed my arm and said, "Wait,I'll see you later?"

I really didn't know if I would but I just replied, "Sure", and left.

I walked down to the second floor, and into the library. It was mostly empty, except for a couple of guys on the computers.

I dropped my book into the return bucket and walked over to the young adult section .I already knew what book I was coming for so it didn't take me long to find it. When school started I began reading the Twilight series.

I'd finished the first book and I'd come back to get the second one. Rob Pattinson is so gorgeous and amazing and just YES! Taylor Lautner is honestly ugly, just ugly. Anyways, I can't wait until tonight because Twilight is coming on TV!

I never thought that I would be in Twilight because I'm not a fan of werewolves and vampires and supernatural stuff but Twilight is just a whole nother story. Kaylin is also coming over to watch it with me tonight.

Or maybe I was going over to her house to watch it? I'm not sure, I'll have to ask her later.

I grabbed the book and took it to the check out counter.

"ID?" The librarian asked me.

"Yeah." I handed her my ID from off of my shirt.

When she had scanned my ID and book, she handed everything back to me, and I left the library.

On my way out I ran into Jessica. Jessica and I had also become good friends since this year started.

She had shoulder-length, curly black hair, dark brown eyes that were almost black, and light brown skin. She was in one of my classes.

"Hey," She greeted me,"What have you been up to?"

"Nothing much ,just reading and hanging out with my friend. Notice I said friend, not friends." I said.

She just laughed and said, "It's okay, I'm sure you'll make plenty of new friends. You just have to talk to people and get out more!"

"Yeah,I guess so." Just then the bell rang.

"See you later!" She yelled before running off to her class.

Apparently, Cole was in 6 out of 8 of my classes. I'd just never noticed him there. He was actually really,really cute.

Most of the girls in this school swooning over him.With his green eyes, brown hair, and braces, I can see why though. Maybe he was way more than cute.

Yeah,he was basically sexy. Very sexy. He was a player on the school lacrosse and hockey team, and he was in honors classes, like me.

I was almost to my World History class when someone walked up behind me and surprised me.

"Hey Ella!" It was Cole with his sexy self.

"Hi Cole!" I replied back enthusiastically.

"World History?" He asked. This was the class that we didn't have together. Sigh, he was really funny and easy to talk too. I had no other friends in this class since Kaylin didn't have this class either.

"Sadly," I said. Don't get me wrong, I love school, but my history teacher, Mrs.Atkins, made it extremely boring.

She had long dull black hair that she wore in a bun on the top of her head everyday. She always had that stupid pale, red lipstick on her teeth everyday. It was already bad enough that she had green stuff in her mouth from no oral hygiene. Her monotone voice and tacky clothes topped it all off. She was just, no.

"Mrs.Atkins ,huh? She is like ca-razy." He said making crazy into two syllables.

"I know! And have you seen her clothes?" I asked him.

"Oh they're the worst," He exclaimed, "I just can't with her!"

I laughed and said, "I know! She's a mess."

We came to a stop in front of the World History room on the 2nd floor.

"Here ya go," Cole said gesturing to the classroom.

"The classroom?" I asked him.

"Yep. I walked you here all the way from your math class."

"Well thank you very much Cole," I said smiling.

"See you Language Arts," he said giving me a hug before walking off.

Oh, the feels.

I took my seat in the middle of the classroom. I took out my notebook and glanced around the classroom. It was basically empty. Only two other people were here.

One boy caught my eye, though. He had dark, curly hair and green eyes. His skin color was tanish and he was very attractive.

He noticed me looking at him and walked over to my desk.

"Act natural, " I thought.

"Hey." He said stopping in front of my desk.

"Hello"

"Hi, I noticed to you looking at me from over there and I just came by to say that you're not so bad looking yourself."

"Was that a compliment?" I asked cocking my head to the side.

"Take it however you would like." He winked before walking off.

I felt myself blush. Gosh, the guys at this school.
