5 days later...

Saturday morning, I woke up from my beauty sleep as I threw my hands in the air and yawned.

Yup, today was the day.. One of my favorite holidays. Halloween.
As you know, the prospect of the holiday is to wear a costume and go trick-or-treating. I trick-or-treated with the whole cast of Every Witch Way last year and it was awesome! By the time I got home last year, my bag was full of candy.

I get up from bed and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth for about 3 minutes, and wash my toothbrush after. I then use mouthwash and spit it out into the sink, and turn on the sink and the mouthwash washes away.

I then strip off my clothes and hang my towel on the back of the bathroom door. I open the shower door and turn on the water. I grab my spunge and soap and start taking a shower.

5 minutes later...

I get out of the shower and grab my towel, drying my body off as I rub my towel all over my body. I put my towel around me and turn off the lights and close the door behind me, walking to my bedroom. I open my bedroom door and walk inside.

As I'm standing with my towel around me with my hand holding my towel, I quickly go through my closet to see the perfect outfit I can wear. A smile spreads on my face as I see the perfect outfit I could wear to start my Saturday morning.
A light blue top, with light blue jeans and white sneakers. I got dressed into the outfit and opened my bedroom door and headed downstairs.

I smiled as the smell of pancakes as I walked into the kitchen. "Morning mom!" I say as I smile at my mom. "Morning sweety!" Mom says. "Today's a special day!"

"Yup! Halloween!" I say, as my mom smiles at my happiness for Halloween. "Who are you going to go trick-or-treating with this year? Maybe you should go with Rahart" mom says.

My mind started to panick at the mention of Rahart. Ever since I found out I liked him a few days ago, I've been avoiding him. And I think he's noticed.

He's been texting me like 10 times for 5 days in a row, and I ignored his texts. When I didn't answer his texts, he tried facetiming me like 20 times, I ignored his facetime calls too. He tried calling me 30 times, and I ignored his phone calls too. So to make sure he wouldn't grow suspicion that I was ignoring him, I logged out of all my social media for a bit. If I posted a selfie on Instagram a few minutes after he had kept texting me, he would have automatically known that I was ignoring him.

The truth was, I was trying to get away from him because of his girlfriend, Veronica. I couldn't go and get all over him. He had a girlfriend and I didn't want to get in the way of his relationship. Plus, I'm scared to tell him. What if he doesn't feel the same way? Our friendship could end and he could feel weird about it. I was already feeling weird about it myself. I wasn't willing to take that chance.

"Earth to Pao" I hear my mom say. "Oh, sorry" I say. "Pao, is something wrong?" Mom asks. I sigh, thinking about what to say next. She's my mom. I can trust and tell her the truth. "Promise me you wont make a big deal out of this?" I ask mom. "I promise" mom says.

I then told her about Rahart's new girlfriend, how I started getting feelings for him a few days ago, and how I've been ignoring him for the past 5 days.

"Woah. How did you feel when you found out you had feelings for him?" Mom asks. "I felt freaked out that I am crushing on my bestfriend while he has a girlfriend, so I decided to ignore him so I wouldn't ruin his relationship with Veronica. What should I do?" I ask.
