Link was standing in front of us, but he seemed pretty dull in color, where's his normal green outfit?

I look at him intensely having the urge to ask him what he is doing in my bedroom only to hear a low chuckle "Uh....." I question looking at the figure noticing it was n o  t Link.

"Hello, princess." He says cheerfully, odd "Uhm you're not Link I say and he turns only for the guards to go in front to shield me just in case he had something planned "Shadow?" I ask confused only earning a nod from him 'Why....' I thought.

In a flash, the guards that were shielding me had flown across the hall one on each side. I nervously chuckle as I back up, 'why do I have the urge to help? h i m ' I thought staring at Shadow one of the many sides of Link, "Why does Link have so many sides jeez." I mutter still backing away as Shadow kept walking forward.

I reached the stairs, I threw my shoes at Shadow since they were heels it may hurt him and he would stop and so I could also get out of there.

"Pitiful," Shadow said laughing as he picked me up at the bottom of the stairs and took me somewhere not before I heard shouts of my name from afar.

"Wha..." I question, "Now that we are alone I need your help Y\N" Shadow stated I blinked quickly "With what?" I ask "Gandoof." Shadow replies "What can I do? I'm just a 'p r i n c e s s', what can someone like me do?" I ask curiously "You'd be surprised." Shadow replies and tells me what is going on.

To sum it up I have a hidden power that runs in my family but Zelda only has a little bit as I am pure with it. So I have to d e f e a t   demise, funny how this works y'know.

"Okay with this 'p o w e r ' you speak of what can it do? " I ask as he goes into the history of it saying it can help the ill, save the fallen it was pretty much what you expect from a superhero or something.

As he finished explaining the power he went into the plan. "There is an item you'll need to retrieve in order for your power to fully work," Shadow said pausing "When you get the item you have to chant a spell and then the power can resurrect and defeat Ganondorf. 

I nod "So do I need to sneak up on him?" I ask he replied nodding grabbing my hand and then we were back in the castle, he kissed my cheek and left as I looked to see I was in my room, I walk out remembering my hunt.

'I can't let them know....' I think and gather the needed things only to run into Link "Y/N!" Link states happily but shocked, I cover his mouth and pull him in my room. "Sh!" I say sighing he looks at me strangely.

"I need your help Link on a hunt to defeat d e m i s e." I say as he wideness his eyes shocked plastered on his face as I sigh again.
