Nyan Cat's Story

|| Twelve ||

Nyan slowly opened her eyes expecting a starry galaxy and rainbow dust beneath her, but all she saw was a small light and walked up to it. She got out of the darkness she was in, it seemed to be the hole she hid from the tabby a few days ago and then she realized that the poptart was still in her mouth. She set it down and began to cry. It... It was all a dream...?  Shadow... Tiger... The others.... They're were never real?! I'm alone again.... I have to continue this life... I miss them.

Suddenly she felt a paw lightly tap her on the shoulder. She looked up to see who it was. A black cat with amber eyes was standing in front of her. "U-uh hi! I just happened to see you here, you look familiar so I decided to see you." The black cat began nervously. Wait... That voice... It sounds familiar... Then she realized who it was. "Shadow?!" Nyan said unbelieving. "H-how do you know my name- wait...." Shadow looked at her up and down. "NYAN?!" Shadow said with wide eyes. "Your still the same cat I met..." He murmured. The cat of my dreams... She is real... He thought. "I-i thought all that was a dream... I thought you were a dream..." She said quietly. "So did I... We must have had the same dream! I talked to Tiger-" Shadow got interrupted by Nyan. "Tiger too?! Is he here?!" Nyan asked. "Heh, and you still interrupt me in the over world..." He muttered. "Over... World...?" She hesitatingly asked. "Mhm, that's the world we live in now, in the dream we were in the Celestial-  Oh! That means it wasn't a dream it was a vision! That.. That means the place is somewhere out there! Oh wait." He paused. "Hey Tiger come out!" A black cat with yellow eyes came out. "Hey Nyan." he greeted. "Tiger!!" she exclaimed. "Anyways, Nyan, we had the same vison, Tiger and I, and you of course."

"Hey Shadow?" Nyan started to ask. "Yeah?" He turned to look at her. "Are Astroid and Dust your friends in real life?" She looked into his eyes for an answer. There was a pause before he answered, he looked into the distance. "Actually yes... But... I haven't seen both of them in a long time, we've known each other for quite a while but then one day were together, the next day I didn't see them, I thought they were busy or something but then moons past and they never showed up, that one day was the last time I saw them..." Nyan stopped listening half way. "Nyan? Are you even listening? You asked the question." He waved a paw at her face.

"Oh. Hmm..? Yes! Yes I was, I was just thinking about how I got into space in that vison." "Oh I remember that! I bumped into you!" He laughed. She glared at him. "I'm still here you know..." They both turned to the voice. "Oh sorry Tiger!" Shadow apologize. Tiger rolled his eyes then turned serious. "Nyan, you said you were thinking about how you got to space, right?" He questioned. "Yeah...? Why?" She asked. "Well, do you remember how you did it? Maybe we can-" "MAYBE WE CAN TRY IT!" She yelled, interrupting Tiger. "I swear, if she keeps doing that I'll rip her fur off." Tiger muttered to Shadow. Shadow sheepishly smiled at him. "What are you two fur balls muttering about?! Follow me!!" Then took off.

They arrived at the park Nyan went to in the dream, mysteriously the red ballon was still there untouched, but there was two more balloons. "Um, I don't remember three of them here..." She muttered to her self. "Anyways all you have to do is grab onto the ballon and it will take off... Well it depends on how much you ate." She explained. "Hmm... Let's see we're ally cats who eat scraps... I wonder... do I look fat to you??" Tiger sarcastically replied. "Well Mr. ImNotFat, would you be a dear and just climb the tree?!" "Whatever." Then he started going up the tree. "She-cats first." Shadow said while bowing. "Are you sure you guys are related? Cuz you guys are polar opposites." She said unbelievingly. He chuckled, "Yes. I know sometimes I wonder that too." She snorted then followed Tiger.

Once they were all on the branch the two cats stared at the red contraption. "Ok now grab on to the string then lean so we can get it out of the tree." She instructed, then started to wrap the string around her. They both nodded and copied what she was doing.

After a while of doing that, they all leaned and got the ballon out of the tree. Tiger grunted in surprise and Shadow's eyes were as big as the ballon itself as the ballon rose higher into the sky. "Are you sure it's safe?!" Shadow shrieked. "Yeah, I think." She goofily smiled. "YOU THINK?!" He yelled. She laughed, "Well it was a 'vision' so..." "Oh my furball..." He hissed.

They were in the air for a while rising higher and higher. I can't believe this is working... Nyan thought. She yawned. I'm getting tired again... She notice the others getting sleepy as well, before she could process what was happening her eyes closed shut.

A/N: I'm sorry for not writing for a long time, I kept getting writers block... I was close to abandoning it but I'm deciding to continue it for now, thank you for waiting so patiently :3
