Flash forward to New Years Eve

Tatum POV

*doorbell rings*

"Tatum, Thalia is at the door!"

"Okay send her up mom!"

Thalia was my best friend since the first grade. We had gone through everything together, but last year she switched schools so we don't see each other as often.. Thank goodness she's coming tonight, im so nervous.

"TATUM!!!"

"THALIA!!!"

"Okay tatum you need to hurry up and get ready, we have to leave in exactly two hours!"

"AHH okay!"

*2 hours later*

"Stay safe Tatum, and don't do anything stupid."

"Got it dad, bye i love you!"

"I love you too!"

We got in the car and headed over to Heather's, I was so nervous. I heard Luke was supposed to be there. We had been texting more and more lately and I actually think I was beginning to like him..

When we arrived at Heather's we immidiately bumped into Luke and his friends near the stairs.

"Hey Tatum!"

he said hi to me first. oh my God Tatum keep your cool..keep your damn cool

"Hey Luke!"

Thalia nudged me

"Oh you guys this is Thalia, Thalia this is Luke, Ashton, Michael, Imogen, Kira, and Ca-"

"I'm Calum, nice to meet you, Heather told me there would be cute girls here, but she never told me any girls as beautiful as you would be here"

Oh my God.. Was Calum really htting on Thalia? Oh God.. But wait that's good! Now I can hopefully finally spend some alone time with Luke!

Thalia blushed and mumbled something in reply, by that time Michael and Ashton were arguing over what song to begin their next gig with and Imogen and Kira were discussing the latest gossip about One Direction.

Luke walked over next to me and asked if I wanted something to drink

"Of course!"

He went, got me a drink and came back..

I was so nervous, I'd definitely be needing more than one drink tonight.

Lukes POV

*Flash forward New Years Eve 5 minutes before midnight*

We were all sitting in one big circle when our friend Brook ran in and yelled that there were 5 minutes left till midnight. Everyone got up and started finding who they were planning on kissing at midnight.

I started wondering to myself if I should kiss Tatum.. I had really been falling for this girl, and falling for her fast. I was so nervous around her.. I don't know if i should.

"Hey dude, I'm going to go find Thalia okay?" Calum was crazy about this girl. He had just met her a few hours ago yet he was already obsessed.

Sometimes I wish I had the confidence of Calum. I mean here I am talking to this cute girl, texting her almost all hours of the day, and I still can't get the balls to kiss her. Yet on the other hand, Calum meets a girl a few hours prior and he's already relaxed and ready to kiss her. This was so freaking annoying.
