It's been 5 months since her death and Joel still hasn't gotten over her. He's been trying to be a good father to baby Jessica but it's gotten really hard without help. Jessica's dad passed away due to a heart attack and her mother moved away in hopes she will be able to find someone new. So Joel was alone. He had no one to help him with baby Jessica. Some nights she'd cry no matter what he did she just cried. It was hard for him to afford someone to watch Jessica and he just couldn't take her to work with him. He was at a loss. He knew he should find someone, but he felt it was too early, and he just couldn't love anyone as much as he loved Jess. Ever since she died he's been depressed, yes she was one of the 2 best things that have happened to him, but he was depressed about the only woman he knew that loved him dying.
