Chapter 8

"Rise and shine!" A manly voice said the next morning and I heard someone draw the curtains back, welcoming the sunlight into the room

I covered my face with my pillow and muttered to myself. Footsteps approached the bed and I felt added weight beside my right arm on the bed. Someone removed the pillow but I refused to open my eyes and I felt someone's breath near my face. I pushed him away and he let out a chuckle

"Wow, daebak, you're a real sleepy head. Come on, let's get you checked out" he said in the middle of chuckles

Wait? Did I hear correctly? Checked out? Aigoo, I'm still in what they call hospital and Ravi said he'll take me to go buy stuff.

I forced myself to sit up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes in the process. Once my eyes were open, I found Hongbin but no Ravi

"Where's Ravi?" I asked then supressed a yawn

"He went down to fix the check out papers. We've been waiting for like almost 3 hours so Ravi hyung decided to get the paper works downstairs and asked me to wake you up" he said smilling

I felt my cheeks flush. It's embarassing enough that I refused to wake up when Hongbin was waking me up, but them waiting for me to wake up for almost 3 hours is just too much. Not to mention that the stuff we're actually going to buy is to be purchased with their money since I have none

Hongbin looked at me and noticed my cheeks had a slight tint of pink and playfully rubbed his hand against my hair

"Don't be embarrassed, you're Ravi hyung's cousin. Remember?" He said putting emphasis on the word remember and I let out a half smile

"Hehe, yeah, I'm supposed to be Ravi's cousin"

He opened his mouth to say something but before words came out of his mouth, the door flung open and revealed Ravi

"You guys ready?" He said in English and Hongbin cringed

"Do you have to do that even here?" Hongbin asked half laughing then he turned to me "Ravi's just being weird and he likes going back to our old songs, that line is from our song G.R.8.U (another random fact, that song's English title is close to the literal translation of it's Korean title, 대.다.나.다.너, the literal translation is 'you are the best'. It's from their repackage of the album Hyde, the repackage album is entitled Jekyll. I featured Hyde in one of the previous chapters as Ravi's rap :) )

"I just felt like doing it. Wae?" (Why?) Ravi replied laughing and Hongbin sighed

Amidst all of this, as they exchanged weird to sassy remarks towards each other, I tried preparing myself to go out. Considering the fact that I have nothing except for the clothes on my back and there are two guys arguing about something I don't even understand. I think they're arguing about bathtubs?

"Kaja" Ravi said joyfully and Hongbin lagged behind since he lost their argument (?) and ended up agreeing to pay for lunch later on

I started towards the door and Ravi came up to me and I felt his arm drape over my shoulder. I pulled away suprised by the sudden skinship and he put his finger towards his mouth

"Don't worry, everyone knows I do this to family members even to my younger sister, don't worry" he whispered disguising himself with a mask, cap and a pair of sunglasses

I concluded it must be true because Hongbin didn't heed any attention and there were no nasty glares from anyone we encountered.

We started walking towards a bus stop when I saw that Jeju island was listed among the list where you would by the things called tickets to ride that 'bus' what ever that is.
